Probably the best poke place in Monterey county, the fish and vegetables are fresh and it's not too expensive. There isn't much place to eat inside but it's great for take out, especially lunch. Definitely recommend going here!

Was impressed by how clean everything was as well as the nice employee behind the counter. Wasn't impressed by the quality of the food nor the total. I ordered a bowl with spicy tuna and salmon. My wife got the Alvarado roll. Neither items tasted good, they were just meh. For $40 for just salad and some random items sprinkled on top I was expecting actual flavor. We boxed everything up, gave it to the homeless guy outside and went Nextdoor for something to fill us up. If you're on the fence with this place just save your money and go elsewhere. Very expensive for "fast food".

This is one of my favorite places in downtown Monterey! When you walk in it smells so refreshing and clean every time. The staff is always nice and helpful. The food never fails to hit the spot. Definitely recommend!

Pulled into Monterey on Tuesday around 10:30 AM. We were hungry. Looking for a healthy option. At 11:30 these doors opened and we couldn't have been happier to be near. The food was incredibly fresh and so tasty. It was so good I am going back today for more.

I was in the mood for sushi and this was the closest place to my work. I ordered the PBR roll and the salmon hand roll. Both were good but it was good for a quick lunch break sushi meal. I didn't get the real sushi experience if that makes any sense. They just use the ingredients for their bowls to make rolls. Nothing wrong with that, I just wanted cut or sliced fish on my rolls, not cubed meat. Again, it wasn't bad, just not what I was craving. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice.

Oooo where to start. I walked over here on my lunch break and wasn't disappointed! Fresh fish, lots of mixes too with marinade. I also loved the wasabi mayo! That's a new one for me. Shawn was very very helpful and had such welcoming energy. He also made suggestions which is rare in Grab and go nowadays. This place is also very cute inside and has ample seating. Without a doubt I'll be back!
No highchairs!! Not family friendly so we went across the street to another restaurant because we werent going to hope our toddler could sit on a backless chair without a tumble. Server looked pleased we went elsewhere.

The food is always fresh and well plated. It has a young and vibrant atmosphere with a sophisitication in its staff that makes it a pleasure to walk into the doors. Price is right and well worth it. It is great for Vegan or Vegatarians also. Fish is of the highest quality by far in the area for POKE!

I have been coming here since 2020 as my poke place of choice. I love the food and I think it's by far the best poke in the peninsula. However, every time I order food from them I have issues with their customer service. One time I ordered delivery but got a call from their manager saying they didn't have anyone for delivery today so I could cancel or pick it up. I chose to pick it up but when I got there and there were no parking spaces they told me to double park (parking enforcement was at my bumper in less than 5 seconds). Multiple times when I have successfully parked in order to pick up my order, the staff could hardly be bothered to look at me. One time their employee was sitting in the counter instead of helping me, another time my order wasn't ready and I had to wait while they started my order past its promised time. Other times they couldn't just speak one word to me. But I love the food so I kept going back. This last time I went I paid the extra money for an extra scoop of fish. When I got it home, there was no extra scoop. I contacted their customer service with a video of the bowl to prove I only had two of the 3 fish I ordered. They immediately responded letting me know they would refund me for the extra scoop. This was on December 29th 2023 and I still don't have my refund. I have followed up with them 3 times since then for the refund. They reply every time to tell me they will look into it but I never get farther than that. I just won't be going again. I'm disappointed that a place with such good food can be this tarnished by terrible service. If anything changes... I'll be sure to let you know.
