The views are amazing from the restaurant! The clam chowder was really good, but was disappointed in the serving sizes. Ordered the fisherman’s platter which included rockfish fillets and when the platter arrived there was only one! I asked the waiter if it only came with 1 fillet and he said yes. I told him about the menu but didn’t seem to care. I wouldn’t go back especially since there are so many other restaurants on the pier.

DO NOT GO Dropped by the day prior to reservation 21 oct to check it out and reserved the ONLY table with views for all 8 of us; on upper level Arrived on time 1230; not a soul eating - the place was EMOTY. They quarreled with us about the TABLE reservation; denied it; and said the section was CLOSED . OMG clueless STAFF management . Staff seemed like parking lot attendants, one wore a sporty hat (???) I'm sure others have a marvelous time. Not me

Food is good but not what it’s priced for . calamari steak was alright. On the walk to the restaurant you see 10 restaurants serving the same thing for half the price lol fries also had a hair on it :/

they toke FOREVER!!! didn't even take our order.they didnt care about new customers . The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! WAITED ALMOST 30MINS AND NO HELP! Never again

Food quality 👌 okay. The views from the end of the wharf is the main attraction while enjoying a drink 🍸 of meal. The otters playing outside the window were an added bonus.

Ate here with a group and while it was over a fairly good experience, I wouldn't recommend it if you're visiting Monterey. Service was slow, took a good while to get my order taken and then food was slow to come out. I didn't like that gratuity was automatically added and that the waiter wrote the final amount with tip on the receipt. Clam chowder was the best part, it was quite good, but Fish Hopper has the best in Monterey. I got the rockfish dish and while the flavors were good, the fish was dry and overcooked. It's a great location and other dishes my group got looked really good, but everything was very slow to come out.

My wife and I drove 6 hours to Monterey for our Anniversary, and this is where we chose to go to dinner on our first night there. After waiting for over a half an hour, we were still not served, or acknowledged by our server, despite the waiter servicing the table next to us at least 7 times, and cleaning the tables around us. We finally just left, and ended up going to Domenico's on the Wharf, and they took care of us right away and turned our now poor mood around. I would recommend Domenico's over this establishment if you're able.

Went here for a wedding rehearsal dinner the good was fantastic the service very good lovely room looking out on the water.

Terrible sewage water and they won't change it for the better. They want me to order drinks but I don't drink and they don't care at all.
