Good location at the end of the wharf but their service is pretty bad. Their waiters are not attentive. We walked out because nobody was there to take our orders.

I’ve eaten here twice, both times in large groups. The server told us about their halibut special, which several of us ordered, but then he came back and told us they were actually out of it. The food is fine but it’s certainly not the best seafood I’ve had in California. The fish was dry, actually. The atmosphere is cool because you’re right on the water with great views of the harbor.
Nice place. Good views over the bay. Food was good with a large variety on the menu.

Well this is our first time here to Monterey & we walked around the wharf deciding where to eat. We ended up here. Very nice atmosphere. We ordered our appetizers. We ordered calamari, bread bowl & Castroville artichoke...enjoying ourselves as we are half way thru our artichoke I grabbed another leaf about eat it when I notice a black spider on the leaf. ?? well needless to say our appetite was ruined after telling the waiter he came back with the manager to apologize and asked if we wanted a fresh one & that the spider was dead....dead or alive we left. What a bummer?

Had a big dinner there with a fixed menu. Expected the salmon to be good, asked if it was farmed or fresh, was told it was fresh but it was clearly pasty farmed salmon, mushy flavorless. The appetizer was shrimp and it was good but the rest of the food was disappointing. Their version of creme brulee was runny and not a solid glaze on top. Overpriced.
I went here for a light lunch last week and was very pleased. I had a nice table overlooking the bay, ships, and I got to see an otter swim on by. I had the Caesar salad with chicken and it was good.The service was attentive and the atmosphere was enjoyable... and of course the views!

Je ne commande pas ce restaurant , ni pour sa cuisine , ni pour son accueil ...et surtout le serveur César qui s’est permis de prendre sur ma carte bancaire 36.23 dollars - à mon insu et sans mon accord - comme Tips que je n’ai jamais voulu lui donner , vu son accueil déplorable.Je qualifie son acte de Vol organisé avec son restaurant.Honte à vous , de prendre l’argent des clients sans leur consentement, sans avoir prévenu des clients.Aux touristes français, méfiez -vous de ce restaurant, qui n’est pas bon et qui se permet de prendre l’argent sur votre carte bancaire.J'ai une facture , comme preuve, de 181.14 dollars .Je n'ai donné aucun Tip - qui n'est pas obligatoire - car l'accueil du serveur Cesar était déplorable .Le serveur a prélevé sur ma carte bancaire un montant de 217.37 dollars -sans mon accord et à mon insu .C'est une pratique malhonnête que je n'ai vu dans aucun restaurant aux Etats-Unis .Je demande donc un remboursement de la différence , soit 36.23 dollars , à ce restaurant .Ma banque est informée .J'attends une réponse du restaurant et du serveur César .Cordialement.

This ocean front view restaurant is very beautiful ? the service was great! And the food was amazing definitely 10 out of 10 for me! Came here for my birthday and I was very much satisfied.
