My wife and I arrived for our reservation and were welcomed in and promptly seated. Sarah tended to us and made us feel at home. My wife ordered a cup of minestrone and the lasagna, and I had a cup of clam chowder and the calamari steak sandwich. My wife loves minestrone soup and frequently orders it when it's offered. She said Rosine's minestrone was very tasty and the best she's ever had. We're both enjoyed our meals. We were served generous portions and had to take the leftovers home.

Our family had dinner here on Black Friday. We ordered lasagna, Cajun Prawn pasta and Kids Penne Pasta. Everything was good and big portion.

The food was not good, fish was not fresh. It was Luke warm to cold. Expected better based on the reviews.

Marissa went above and beyond with great accuracy in all our requests and Super good vibes. Restaurant in itself is charming and the food is delicious with generous portions. Will definitely be back

The food selections were not as varied as I had experienced two years ago. The restaurant looked tired, dated, and just not very clean. The food was horrible. Tasted like it was warmed up in a microwave. My experience was a far cry from the lovely experiences I had 2 years ago and I know that, from now on, I will not ever visit this restaurant again when I return to Monterey. So disappointing.

This was a quick and easy option. The food was good and reasonably priced. They have these amazing cakes that are made on premises for dessert.

Very noisy and tables were crowded. Ceilings are high so nothing to dull the noise. Service was good although somewhat rushed. There were people coming in without reservations who were told it was a 45 minute wait so they were trying to crank people through . Food was good but nothing outstanding

The soup was delicious and the NY stake I had was prepared as I had ordered; my experience was pretty pleasant overall. I will definitely return to this restaurant in the future.

Early dinner before theatre. Service was exceptional. Lots of dining choices. The specialty alcohol drinks were premixed - no bartender (we passed). And the dessert choices are mighty-mighty. Rosine's is open breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will be going again. Our dinner entries were pesto and goat cheese stuffed salmon, angel hair pasta with shrimp and a hummus platter. Big portions wonderfully prepared and plated. Dessert was key lime coconut and mango pie. Enjoyed every bite!

We both had soup. One minestrone! Was enjoyed very much. One Chicken Chili Verde. Was the best soup I have ever had!

We visited Monterey for a few days and so happy we found this gem of a restaurant. We ate at Rosine’s a total of 3 times (breakfast & dinner), and each visit was awesome in every way. Super walkable area. Their cakes also looked amazing, but we were always too full to try them after eating our entree. Highly recommend!

It's easy to see why Rosine's is so popular, reasonably priced, quality food all served with a smile.

I'm going back to try their other foods. I'll give more reviews thereafter!
