Thank you for not judging me dine in with my cat?. I married my wife here, now I’m divorcing, wandering at this wharf. However the food here are soul healing, and the vibes is similar to my hometown 蓬莱 in China, where people also eats in a boats by the wharf. I will be back with a new girlfriend. Great place. Cozy and charming
Returned for dinner. Everything was awesome. I had the curry scallops. Great flavor without being over powering.
First time at Sandbar- we wanted lunch at a scenic restaurant. There was no wait. The inside is more like a very casual diner vibe. We grabbed a table by the window, and it was nice to see the boats docked, and a couple drove by as well. The free bread and butter was terrible. It was as hard as a rock...maybe they gave us stale bread, idk. I got the prawns and avocado on sourdough. It was an open face sandwich, but I don’t think the menu described it that way. I believe my hubby got a turkey sandwich. I was not looking forward to my meal after that hard bread, but surprisingly, both were okay. Service was fine, view was great.

I can’t rate the food but service was horrible. this place doesn’t even deserve one star. Parked the car outside went there for a party of two. Party of 15 and 9 were still parking but here we were two and she even forgot that there were two people because she passed us twice asking. That party of 9 came after us but they gave priority to them first and kept on telling us wait for few more minutes when many tables were opening up. Will not recommend going here.

Unfortunately, I can't rate this restaurant below 1 star. The service was horrible. We stood in the crowded doorway for close to 20 minutes and no wait time estimate. There were only two of us so it should have been easy but we were ignored to the point that the same woman asked us twice how many people were in our party. They were seating a party of 9 before they were willing to seat just two of us and that party was still looking for parking. Do not go here if you're looking for good hospitality.

The best calamari we have ever had. The fisb and chips and clam chowder were also right up there. Right at water level with a view of the marina, seals and otters. Lots of locals here which usually tells a story itself. My highest recommendation!
