The hole in the wall is located on the wharf. Walk down stairs and it's right on the water. The initial impression I got wasn't great. Standing and waiting for several mins awkwardly as multiple people passed by who work there, not even a quick greeting or acknowledgment. A very busy, quick talking woman came rushing our way at some point and whisked us away to a table. The view was beautiful. The ocean, the boats, the weather. Fairly quickly we did get served. Trying the fresh halibut special, it did. It disappoint. Deliciously encrusted with pecan and bread crumbs, a creamy mango sauce. My other half opted for the salmon, also fresh and delicious. The overall observation and interaction is that this is a locally owned establishment with a great reputation of the locals and tourist drift in and out.

Great location for boat watching! We came in just before lunch was over but we were able to order the shrimp tacos which were 9/10! Waiters were friendly and very attentive.

I was visiting for spring break and unable to eat inside since we had our dog with us, so we make a takeout order. We ordered Cioppino, clam chowder, and a kids grilled cheese. Our hotel was about half a mile away and boy was I livid when I got home to open our boxes of food. They made the kids grilled cheese with the butt of the bread. Even adults don't eat the butt of the bread, how dare they serve this to my child? I feel I was taken advantage of as a takeout order because no way would they serve this to us if we were eating in. They also threw the garlic bread in the same box as the cioppino, instead of wrapping it separately so it was soggy. The rest of the food was ok, pretty bland. They're getting 2 stars only because the host was nice, otherwise the food was not it.

Oysters were a bit gritty, had to spit out some shell pieces. Sand dabs were grilled perfectly, this was really good. Caesar salad was fresh and crunchy, no wilted pieces. Seared ahi tuna sandwich was good but had too much mayo. The fries that it came with was okay, nothing to write home about. Overall very enjoyable place to have lunch with nice views.
Busy, but that could have been forgiven if the food was better. They hide the fish in sauce. Very one note flavor and that note is so over the top that it is overwhelming and lacking any complexity. Wait staff are great, though.

You are right on the wharf! Loved "Happy Hour". Very nice house red and white wine, generous and tasty Bloody Mary all for 1/2 price. Attentive and friendly staff. Fabulous plate of Monterey Sanddabs (buttery small flounder) and delicious fries for $14. The crab + shrimp louis salad was amazing too.
