We came for dinner with a group of 8. The waitress was so kind and attentive to our table despite having other tables. Our food was delicious, so authentic and flavorful. One of our orders was in correct and the waitress promptly made it better and took the meal off our tab. We will definitely be returning!!

Food was overpriced but was willing to pay due to location. I had never been there and will never go back. The food is mediocre and the service was terrible. Honestly, I would have left since the beginning had I not preordered. I walked in and waited near the “please wait here” sign. After several minutes of zero acknowledgement and being flat out ignored by both waitresses I said “excuse me” in Spanish to one of the waitresses near the bar area. She completely ignored me. Thinking she may not have heard me, I repeated myself a few more times until it became clear she was intentionally ignoring me. At this point I went around the bar, directly in front of her and repeated myself but in English this time. The fact that I spoke English seemed to catch her off guard and her attitude completely changed. I was very cold but still polite and asked to pick up my 3 item order (that had been placed 30mins prior). She said I would have to wait another 10 minutes since it still was not ready. I can understand the delay had the restaurant been full but there were literally only 3 tables being occupied! Also, the food was mediocre at best so there is no reason for these girls to have such a poop attitude. My receipt says Claudia but I got zero acknowledgment and was intentionally ignored by both. Both waitresses looked more Mexican than I am so I’m not sure why Claudia seemed to have a prejudice towards Spanish speaking customers. DO BETTER!!!

Granted they were busy at lunch decended upon by some conference that didn’t come with lunch. I’d never been and wanted something small. The host was doubling as a waif person and I think a cook or dishwasher was helping her. But her greeting was impatient example I told her what I wanted and her reply was, ‘are you ready to order?’. The quesadilla I got was bland. I just got cheese but the tortilla wasn’t anything tasty cheese also unauthentic bland jack. Salsa not tasty. Chips are better from one of those big bags you get at Santa Fe market. Really bad chips. Thin manufactured tasteless. The quesadilla came with about a level tablespoon of pico de gallo and two tablespoons of a tiny salad that was fresh. I should have gone to Papa Chanos or Santa Fe market

I will never go to this location again.
*No fountain drinks only cans = No refills
* I asked for lemon for water, they gave me limes.
*Skimped on Chips & Salsa = For two people -- half a basket of chips with salsa in the basket also half filled.
*If you don't eat pork or don't like chorizo, you can only substitute with more vegetables not meat in the Molcajte.
*Dry chicken in the enchiladas. (Still favorful tho)
*Worst Chile Relleno ever. No salsa/sauce on it. Just piled high with cooked green bell peppers and onions.
*when asked about the sauce I was given a bell pepper & onion broth.
*ordered the Quessabirria tacos to go on a different card.
*Waitress charged both orders to one card.
*Manger came with apologies and a discount----- a whoping 4% discount!! That was a slap in the face.

Hence, I will never come to this location again. The orginal and the other location on Clay are 5 stars.

After a long day in Monterey, we got the suggestion to eat here at La Casa del Sazon 3. All I can say is I wish I lived closer to Monterrey. Unfortunately I live in Idaho. I tried one of the daily specials, the green chile verde. It was absolutely the best I have ever eaten. The sauce was a bit creamier and thicker than I have been served in other Mexican restaurants all across the Western U.S. My cousin loved the huarache. And the hand made tortillas? WOW!! They were simply amazing. Our server was fabulous. Sorry I don't remember her name. We were there around 4 pm on Thursday, August 14th. What a meal to end my two weeks in my native state of California.
