Fish and chips are delicious, the pint of clam chowder is a must-have as well. The oysters were tasty and fresh, but had bits of shell in them. The restaurant is generally clean and service is wicked fast: ~5mins from order to food on table.

We had fish & chips and they were fresh & hot ! Plus it’s a fresh fish market. We also had the clam chowder which was delicious As well. The owner was nice as he could be when we walked in, he greeted us. Place was SPOTLESS. If I lived there I would eat here at least once a week.

Great more affordable seafood market & grill not ON the water but close to Cannery Row.Nothing fancy - but good seafood ! A local favorite.

Overpriced for the quality. Food is not fresh, especially calamari and veggies. Tipping expected without any service.

Good cooking, very casual setting. This place appears to be one part fishmonger one part diner. You order at the counter, they bring your food to you on single-use plates. The fish is fresh and cooking pretty good. No frills. Prices are good for the area. Mains are $17-$29, add a drink and a tip and you're looking at $25-$40 per person.

Great lunch spot for your Monterey Trip. We ate fish & chips along with a bread bowl. The fish was fresh and chips were crisp. The bread bowl was fantastic and I would definitely eat here again. Staff was attentive, fast, and friendly. The vibe is a comfortable, beach, and informal vibe with self-seating. Cute spot and recommend

I stopped by here after a hike in Big Sur with a friend. We got here around 4pm and there were about 4 tables dining in. By the time we left around 5, it was packed. To start, you order at the register prior to sitting down, and they gave you a buzzer for when your food is ready for pick up at the counter. We ordered: - Fried Rockfish Sandwich w/ slaw and fries ($16.95) - Halibut and chips ($24.95) - one pint of clam chowder ($7.95) - 2 ciders ($7.95 each) The rockfish sandwich had an option of either grilled of fried. I opted for the fried because I was craving fish and chips but also wanted a sandwich at the same time. The rockfish was pretty good, not dry and the crisp of the fish was perfectly cooked. However, without the side of tartar sauce, I felt the sandwich was a bit bland. The fries were good, average, nothing crazy special there. The slaw that came with it felt off to me. The friend I was with also agreed that it wasn't like the typical slaw you would think. It was missing a more acidic tone to it. At the table they had some malt vinegar that helped balance the slaw more. The halibut and chips were cooked well. My friend seemed to enjoy it, he did put more of the malt vinegar on it though. The clam chowder was a good consistency aka not watery. However, it was quite salty... The clam chowder comes with oyster crackers that helped a little bit to tone down the salt. The ciders were just standard cans. They did have a large selection of drinks in the fridge for those that were interested. Though when I paid for it, the cashier didn't tell me that I could just walk to the fridge and grab the drinks myself while waiting for the food. There were lots of seating indoor and out, 2 gender neutral bathrooms (a little slippery so be careful), and a free parking lot for diners! For those that are interested, they also sell fresh fish on their display that you can take home/ to your air b and b to cook. I'd rate this experience with a 3.5/5.

A locally owned Restaurant with great prices and good food. There is also a fish market on the premises. I opted for the grilled fish tacos. The tacos were generously stuffed with local fresh fish, pico de gallo and sour cream. Some of the best fish tacos I have ever had. I was amazed at the moderate prices because of the location of the restaurant. Next time I am in the Monterey vicinity, I will make it a point to eat there again.

This was a great lunch spot prior to going to the aquarium. The location is just perfect and it's a tiny bit less touristy than the rest of the spots on Cannery Row. The food was good and portions just right. I loved the variety of seafood available. We ordered fish and chips, oysters and chips and a fish sandwich. Service was good too. My only complaint would be about the bathrooms. They have 2 bathrooms outside. The one I went in was clean but there was water in the ground which made it extremely slippery. My feet slid out and I barely caught myself before I fell. I was wearing sneakers so it's not like my shoes didn't have traction. That aside, it was a lovely lunch. We ate in the courtyard and someone there has a green thumb because the plants were all thriving.

Highly recommend the grilled rockfish sandwich. The fish was so fresh. The fried calamari was not the typical tasteless rubbery rings. These were meaty and soft. My kids loved it. Great choice for lunch away from the busy cannery row.

My husband and I decided to try Sea Harvest on Valentine's Day. We arrived around 5:45pm . The restaurant was not busy at all. We approached the counter and placed an order for Seafood combination and Seafood pasta . I had a few questions about the entrees but our clerk/server/cashier looked annoyed and kind of gave me the look like , the answers were obvious so I didn't ask another question. I did mention I would like to substitute the salmon in the pasta for more prawns or scallops "mini scallops." He said , " I don't need to tell them, they will already know" uh.. ok. Anyway, We sat there waiting for our food over 30 minutes . Then I realize people who came AFTER us had gotten their food , ate and left ! I mentioned it to my husband and he insisted that it will take awhile. I've noticed that the table behind us is getting top service . At this point , it looks like the table behind us is the cashiers/server family . My husband went up to the girl server and told her we didn't get our food & we been waiting , she went and checked on it and it looks like our order DID NOT PRINT ! She went and told the cook and cashier. This was a mistake on their end , so instead of putting our "order" to the front, our order was in back of the queue! We waited for another 15 mins and this time I am annoyed so I went to talk to the cashier and just told him to cancel our order . He said it was not his fault that the printer didn't print . No, you were too busy accommodating the family behind us and serving them alcoholic beverages that you got side tracked and didn't print our order, Dimas! (This restaurant is really small & they can't really miss you . For them not noticing we have not had our food by this point is beyond me ). He said he will make it up to us & comped us the fried seafood combination. Then, some food comes out and I thought it was ours but it wasn't . I overheard the female server ask , "who is this for ? It just says D and it doesn't have a number (she's talking about the order slip bc you get a number with your order ) he pointed to the table behind us - the people he seemed to be only servicing . Our food came out eventually 10 minutes after that . Pasta was ehh ok & fried seafood was ok. I will definitely not be coming back or recommending anyone else here ... next time , I would recommend people try Viviolas Chowder House down the street. More variety, better service and delicious food!

We loved our meal at Sea Harvest! We ordered the calamari, fried fish tacos, and the cajun ono sandwich. Loved that the fish tacos came with pico and pickled vegetables, made them balanced and added a great crunch. The calamari tasted fresh, and the sandwich was a solid eat albeit nothing spectacular. I would come back just for the tacos! Service was quick and pleasant, most of it being self service. Atmosphere is relaxed and the back patio is so cute when the weather is nice!
