A perfect 5-star experience! The place looks like a pirate ship, which is really cool. Juvann helped us pick our food quickly and suggested some great dishes. The food was the best I've ever had. An amazing visit all around!

Fish and chips, chicken caesar, 2 beers. Delish! Good value. Wonderful service and ambiance. I definitely recommend this British restaurant in California. Felt like I was in a London City pub.

Fun discovery. Friendly staff fun attempt at a British Pub. Husband tried Chicken Pot pie. Obviously fresh made large chunks of carrots and nice looking peas . I tried Beef and mushroom. Tender if large chunks of steak. Side vegetables also very fresh. Tried the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. Served warm with plenty of sauce and cream on the side. Moist warm sticky. Everything a sticky toffee should be. We've walked by the signs for this place often. Glad we finally went down those steps and tried it.

The beer was was good but the fish and chips was so soggy I didn't enjoy it at all. Service was very friendly.

Absolutely terrible! The worst are the servers/waitstaff. Very unaccommodating, slow, NOT welcoming. Had to seat ourselves and when female server finally came to our table she was absolutely rude and very fake. Ambiance was loud but not busy in the dining area. Decor is VERY outdated and old. Everything from booths, tables and chairs felt sticky and gross. We ended up walking out. Will not ever come back to this place-highly recommend other local places like Peter B's (Portola Hotel), Fin+Field (Marriott), Alvarado Brewery or Turn 12 if you want a friendly, welcoming experience and better quality food/wait staff. Don't waste your money here!

Incredibly friendly staff and delicious vegan food options - just ask for the vegan menu! Good beer on tap as well and they certainly nailed that pub vibe. The vegan curry chips were amazing. I'm drooling just thinking of them as I write this review.Dietary restrictions: Vegan menu! So tasty!

A ridiculous, divey theme bar with chaotic staff, disappearing or absent hosts, an uncaring management, and bad food. There are no redeeming qualities.

Awesome place and kid friendly. We were able to sit in the back and bring in our stroller. They had a children’s menu and we got fenomenal service. We got a the fish and chips (2 piece) and it was a big portion. The hubby got the Plymouth platter and we could have both shared that plate, plenty of food!Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, children’s welcomed!

The ambiance is great. We each ordered a cocktail, and I asked the bartender if she knew how to make my order (it's relatively uncommon). She rolled her eyes and said "this is a bar." Not only could she not make my cocktail, her old fashioned that she served my husband was bourbon on the rocks with a piece of lemon rind. A disappointing experience.

Very busy, but if you like an underground pub with a lot of people, you'll love it!

I have been coming here for years. I have always truly enjoyed the ambiance at the Crown. Jojo and Ben continue to make me feel at home as well as any friend that I bring to the Crown. I look forward to seeing both of them every time I come here.

Came here last night for our 25th Anniversary. Waiter was pleasant and attentive. He got our drink orders then appetizers and entrees. We ordered quite a few so items we could try it all. Absolutely, fresh and delicious..pub grub. Definitely will come again.

No clue about the food but don't recommend bar hopping onto this one. Absolute sausage fest and vibe is terrible.

We have come back every time we are in town for the quant and cozy pub atmosphere and the amazing sticky toffy pudding. Don't let the word pudding dissuade you from trying it. It is the first reason we come back, the beers and ale on tap are second as well as the comfort foods.
