The Trident Room at NPS is a small pub with great vibes and even better people. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests are enjoying themselves. There’s always good music, and Bar Manager John is professional, kind, and a great friend to everyone who comes in for a drink.
The dining room tables are family-friendly too—my kiddo had a great time eating fish and chips and sipping on Shirley Temples in such a fun atmosphere. Prices are also reasonable, making it a great spot for both adults and families alike. It's quickly becoming a place that me and my friends look forward to visiting!

Great food and the drinks are really good. We ate and drank there many nights during my stay.
This is such a cool place to eat, especially if you are staying in the Old Del Monte Hotel. Like a military club. Great prices, solid food and tons of history. Good vibes all around. Staff were friendly. Desserts are good and taste homemade. Sports on the TV. Recommended!

This place used to be great. It used to be a proper Navy bar: reasonable prices, popcorn, friendly staff. Now, everything is overpriced, and the staff is rude. $18 for a burger? At a navy bar? Alcohol prices are more than the local economy. $9.50 to fill the $20 mug. It just seems like they handed this historic bar over to a for profit restauranteur… just like they did with Hermann Hall (which increased prices 3x in less than 10 years). Navy bars are supposed to be reasonable and a place to build comraderie… neither applies to the trident room.

Pretty cool inside. We stopped by for dinner. Husband always has fish and chips. It was my first time. I had salmon with veggies and rice. The sauce on the salmon was so good!

Prime Rib Night was pretty good. We ordered Med Rare + Med but the steaks came out Rare + Med Well. Limited selection of food on the regular menu, basic bar food really.
No hats allowed!
They also have UFC matches when it’s live.

One of the few places my whole family enjoyed the food. My son is very picky so for him to get hyped about their Mac and cheese is high praise. Drinks are always on point here. I love that they don't play the music so loud that you have to yell. Really awesome place.
The bartender is very kind and helpful.. great place to have a small reunion.

This place is so cool. It's a bar and diner. So, totally laid back atmosphere. The food is great, especially the fish & chips. For dessert, YOU MUST HAVE the Butter Toffee Cake. OMG it smells like Disneyland and tastes like a sweet-ish pancake. THAT is by far, the best dessert I've had in years!
