Very kind owners, and great food that I've even seen being prepared when I would have conversations with the owners. Always very sweet to the military students studying there. Sure, there's a price, but considering these hard times a small restaurant using high quality ingredients has to make a profit to survive. I always had the loveliest experience, and my favorite ddeokbokki was always here as opposed to anywhere else.

This the best Korean food I have had in the Monterey area. I had the spicy squid and my wife had the fried glass noodles. The chef/owner was super friendly and made sure my family was well taken care of the entire time. We definitely be back

A great menu full of authentic dishes with delicious side dishes and imported drinks to pair with them. I highly recommend this for someone looking to try Korean cuisine that isn't just fried chicken or BBQ style meats. Come practice your language skills as well if you are into that sort of thing!

My little sister just came back from studying abroad in Korea and she was missing the cuisine. This restaurant provided an authentic experience that fulfilled her craving. I had never tried Korean food so I was surprised by the sizzling plates and boiling soups. I can't wait to come back!I would recommend making a reservation out of respect for the owner who runs the whole restaurant on her own. She is quick and spectacularly kind. We ordered noodles, fried rice, 2 appetizers, and a ramen. We were served within 15 minutes!

I loved this restaurant so much we went pretty late so not gonna lie it was lonely, also they don’t play music and it was awkward but I don’t mind. I ordered the ramen I think it was called ram yen or something like that I’m so sorry if I get it wrong, ok but as I was saying I ordered the ramen and I’m not really a spicy person so it was pretty spicy for me but apart from that it was delicious we also got fried rice and it was really tasty as well we’re new to this whole Asian food thing so most of us got ramen. I didn’t get to take a lot of pictures but heres what I got. ( we had already eaten the dumplings so don’t thinks that’s how much they serve) the person who served us was very nice too!

The worst restaurant I’ve ever had!! Super ugly food and fake food! The noodle that I ordered was just pure instant noodles, no veggies or egg as described! How can it be sold as almost 20 dollars! Beef hot stone also tasted really bad! Beef was extremely tough! Only tiny bit veggies! How such bad restaurant sells everything even more expensive than usual and got good reviews! Bad luck to trust it! Never go again!
