Don’t waste your time or money. Thinking this was gonna be a really good place to eat and to be honest, I would keep away from this restaurant. I was so excited to finally try them but when I receive my food all my shrimp were burnt rubbery, the rice was old and so were the black beans my fries look like they’ve been under a heat lamp for hours, the only good thing that they did was a side salad. You’re better off going to Taco Bell to eat Mexican food than this place.

It was a cute little spot and tucked away in a corner with really good, fresh food and excellent service. Had carne asada steak that was great with good flavor. Rice and beans that came with it were traditional and delicious. They are a bit limited on dessert options, though.

This is definitely one of the top 10 in terms of taste 👌 so far...
The lady manning the cashier at our time of visit was welcoming and warm and didn't rush us when we were ordering.
Food taste is excellent all around
Its a small place with just 4-5 tables and cozy

I asked a for a zarandeado which is normally cooked on a grill . Unfortunately my dish tasted as if it had been cooked in the oven , only Evidence of grilling was in my lemon but the flavor and texture were not there . Beans were pretty good ! But I went for the fish and it was not tasty .

I don't know what happened, but the quality and the taste of the food dropped severely. I was reading other reviews and looked like the ownership and chefs changed? It is sad to lose such a great place, but I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND eating here if you are looking for fresh and delicious seafood. The seafood tasted old, like it was prepared Monday and then saved in the fridge for like Friday. And why was the salsa fizzy and bubbly, was it supposed to be drunken salsa? Either way it tasted water down and just all the fizzyness added a weird texture. If you can even get salsa right, something is seriously wrong. I am a little upset and its probably skewing my review, but if you are selling old seafood to customers that is something that can be dangerous and I won't support. Also the dishes were like like super expensive like $30-40 per person, if I am paying a lot of money I expect it to be fresh!

This place is not clean and the food was very bad
These people has nothing to do with food business. I can’t believe people gave 4 or 5 stars!

Anyone who follows me knows that I am always in search of good seafood. This comes about because I do not particularly like fish but I seek it out, owing to needing to eat it every Friday for health reasons.
This is a somewhat obscure little cafe near the wildly popular Portillo's Hot Dog restaurant. It has only five tables and a three-stool counter. While I was here, the PA system was playing exceedingly relaxing New Age music. The All Gender rest room was sparkling clean.
The young lady who took my order and served my food was very pleasant and quite knowledgeable about the offerings.
I chose the grilled red snapper, upon her recommendation. It was well-seasoned and blackened on one side. It was served with tomato rice and a salad (although she pointed out that I could chose other sides).
The fish was very tender and flavorful, but it was a bit dry for my palate. It was served with a house-made tartar sauce (which I mistook for salad dressing) that was quite good. Speaking of the salad, it was very fresh and crispy, and included several vegetables not found in the usual stuff that comes out of a bag.
I chose a bottled Coke to drink because she verified that it was imported from Mexico. I requested a glass of ice for the beverage and was delighted to discovered that it was an actual tumbler made of glass.
Overall, this was a pleasant discovery for me. The atmosphere is low key and the food was quite good. I will definitely be back.
Black Pearl Seafood is Highly Recommended.

Picked this restaurant from Google’s review. They were right! I had a fish burrito and it was delicious! All ingredients had a perfect harmony in the tortilla. The service was excellent!

When I travel to Moreno Valley I end up here at least one night for dinner. Their food is fresh and delicious with no wait and great service. Their menu and recipes are unique and I've never had a bad dish at this place. I have to give it 5 stars. Many of their menu items would cost much more if it was a large chain or high end restaurant - go here for great food!

Staff was very friendly and for a nice seafood place to get a cool fusion of Hispanic and Asian cuisine it was a cool choice.

This restaurant is a seafood lover’s dream! The service was attentive without being intrusive. Our waiter took the time to explain the day's specials, making great recommendations. I tried the seafood paella, and it was bursting with fresh flavors—shrimp, mussels, and perfectly cooked rice. The ambiance was charming with soft lighting and tasteful maritime-themed decor, making it perfect for a relaxing dinner. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish!
