Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

My GF loves this place. We go here a lot when I come down to visit her. Food is fresh. Staff friendly. They could clean up dining area more often but other than that the place is good.

Absolutely disgusting. I wish I read some of the reviews before we came in. Went to grab something to eat around 3pm on a tues. The food prep area was dirty and all the salsa and meats looked like they been there since yesterday. Had a hard time ordering because honestly nothing looked appealing. Ordered 2 grilled beef tacos and beans and rice. Rice and beans under cooked and nothing tasted good. My daughter ordered a burrito and we threw most of it away. The drink station looked dirty from the outside and all I could think of was what the inside must look like. If your looking for a d grade Chipotle this is the place for you , if you want decent food I'd stay away. There was plenty of staff and the manager was pleasant but the place just looked really dirty. Will not be going there again.

Taco Tuesday is the best!!

It was i wanted chicken. I asked could they make more. The cook turned around with an attitude and said no he's not cooking anything else. I asked the server what time they closed and he said 10:00pm.... it was 8:07pm. I don't know what the green stuff is, but it looks like a shelf of something. I have a picture of the very rude chef but I dot think I can post him. If I can let me know and I will.

Excellent service and delicious food! Honestly, I have been wanting to come here for a long time and will 100% be back. They have fresh flour tortillas! Their food is better than Chipotle and made fresh. I had the shredded beef salad 10/10! My daughter had the shredded beef tacos and ate every last bite. They also had a full station for drinks: house made horchata/aguas frescas/syrups/soft drinks etc. Thank you!

First time here with friends I asked for steak he said no.. I asked if they were gonna make more, and he said no... then another cool tall guy with mustache told him yes after I had paid for mine. I got a meat I didn't want. Pretty messed up.

I was very disappointed in my meal today . I come to Rio cafe all the time and order it online. Unfortunately, today I did the same as I always do and my order was incomplete. I always order extra meat on my salad and since I don’t do rice, I get double beans. This time I had maybe one portion of meat even though I was charged for extra meat and very little beans. It was missing the cheese on the tortilla and the cilantro. Then, when I go to eat it, the tortilla is hard and cold. My food was cold. Since I order all the time, I know the portion size was not correct. Usually, my bowl is full, not just full of lettuce.

My cousin told me about Cafe Rio in Moreno Valley so it’s my first time to try it. I ordered the bowl with the steak and I’m impressed how tender and tasty the meat was. I will definitely comeback and recommend this location for the staff are so nice and helpful. Very good service.

10:17pm restaurant should be open but for some reason it's closed and I was told the food was thrown away. I don't think people who don't understand the hours of operation should be allowed to work in the establishment

There portion for the protein is too damn little paying $12 for kid size portions do better
