Carnitas al Estilo Michoacan #2

Food poisoning, put me in the hospital for 3 days, 5 days later and haven't recovered completely, never again will I go there

Brought an out of town family member after the March Air Force Base air show. The food was plentiful and we enjoyed our meal there.

This is a pretty old mission-style establishment of Moreno Valley but the food is pretty good. It's helpful if you speak Spanish to order but you'll still get by even if you don't. I like to get their family specials with extra rice and beans. The food has a homemade flavor, hardly any grease, and their green salsa is good, not that spicy. I recommend carnitas and chicharrón.

I have mixed reviews for this location.
1st.. the carnitas are amazing! I won't take that away from this place. But here's the down fall...

The family pack orders are only for take-out and cilantro and onion is extra charge. However, dine-in, you have to order by plate, (no family packs) and cilantro and onion are included.

I asked why isn't it the same either way?
She simply said, new management.

For this, I will not return nor order for office luncheon and I'll let everyone I know to just go to Cardenas Market.

Chips are rancid, they say Friday is “Vaquero Night” and they will put more reggaeton, merengue and salsa music with DJ rather than corridos, guapangos ,norteño,sierreño music. It’s wack. If you ask a Dj to play you a certain song, they will ignore or take forever to put it on. Not a to go place, it is really a last option lol sorry not sorry.

They don't play the karaoke song ordering today 11.07.2024 and 11.082024 and it made me buy several buckets for my song too bad habit

False advertisement on their night life, I don't think they even know how to properly organized an event. The food is horrible and the prices are insane.

My go-to spot for carnitas and buche. They're really good, I always go for takeout. Never actually ate inside. The 4 star is because they want to charge extra for salsa, onions, limons, and cilantro. Other than that, I will keep going
