El crazy shrimp

I recently visited El Crazy Shrimp with my boyfriend, excited to indulge in their renowned ceviche tostadas. We decided to order both the fish ceviche and the shrimp ceviche tostada, eagerly anticipating the fresh flavors and vibrant presentation that the restaurant is known for.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was lively and inviting, and the staff was friendly, which only heightened our excitement. However, our experience took a disappointing turn when the shrimp ceviche tostada was served.

To my dismay, the shrimp were not properly cleaned. Instead of enjoying a delightful bite of fresh shrimp, I found myself having to cut each shrimp open to remove the inedible parts. I understand that some diners may not mind this, but I personally prefer my shrimp to be cleaned thoroughly before serving. It detracted significantly from the overall enjoyment of the dish, as I spent more time preparing the shrimp than savoring the flavors.

The fish ceviche was decent, and I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients, but the shrimp situation overshadowed our meal. I believe that attention to detail is crucial in a seafood restaurant, and I was left feeling disappointed.

I genuinely wanted to love El Crazy Shrimp, but I left feeling frustrated. I hope that the kitchen can improve their shrimp cleaning process in the future, as I believe it could elevate the dining experience for many customers. Until then, I might think twice before ordering the shrimp ceviche again.

Stopped by today, Food was good we got tostadas de ceviche y pulpo, campechana and tacos gobernado that came with chipotle sauce. All were really good and fresh . Small local place but worth the stop.

The shrimp cocktail was great, but everything else was average. I needed a homemade spicy sauce for the tacos de Camarones. Also, there are not many options for kids.

10 out of 10 ! Campechana and the caldo de Camarón with Ramen !! You will not be disappointed best in Moreno Valley !!

Excellent place, the food is delicious, delicious flavor, just keep in mind that the place is small, it has few tables, they will be open on Sundays from 12:30.
Recommendation: try the toasts, they are delicious, the best in Moreno Valley by far!

Friendly people, great food , fresh mariscos fast service the only bad par is that they don’t serve cerveza, other than that is perfect for the family and friends.

No alcohol sold here but you can bring your own. The owner who was also our server this day was so friendly and attentive! The dining room is small, the tables are uneven. Some are shorter than others, we had to move to one that was higher. The food? Although it was ok it was just basic campachana. Nothing worth returning for.

For my first time coming here I'm impressed on the quantity and quality of the food more important the taste it was the best Jonathan and his team was the best THANK YOU MUCH I'LL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND "EL CRAZY SHRIMP" TO EVERYONE....!

Suprised me…I ordered a tostada mixta first thought might be a bit expensive but once I tasted it the flavor was great . - everything fresh … vegetables cut very finely .. I will go back and try other stuff for sure ... worth myMoney for sure

Place is nice but very limited parking. Food had a unique taste. The cocktail was sweet flavor. Never had it this way but its good. The Gob Tacos was a complete miss for me. Not sure why it's was so soggy...I just didn't like it. The portion are very small for the price. I suggest giving bigger portion to compete with other restaurants.
