Worth the drive! Drove here from Murrieta. We had oxtail and jerk chicken. The oxtail was falling off the bone, well flavored. Jerk tasted authentic. Rice and peas was on point and festival was soft. Definitely recommend!

Just left you at the jerk fest festival and the service and food were horrible and I mean horrible. People waited over an hour for unseasoned barely done jerk chicken, rice and peas made with kidney beans and horrible festival bread. The cabbage was served cold and was not cooked or seasoned properly. Why would you come to a jerk fest to serve below average food. I could have killed, plucked and cooked the chicken faster. You need to lose the guys you sent to the festival they are a horrible representation of Caribbean food and culture disgusted

I went to a Jamaican la event today and there was 2 caterings . 1 had a long line so I went to landings. I ordered my food at 3 they said 25 min to wait I said ok. An hour and a half later I get my food and it tasted like I could have made that at home. Nonjerk seasoning or flavor I watched him tried to assist and he didn’t want help

I don't know what I'd do without Jamdung to get Jamaican food when the cravings hit. I live about 5 minutes from one of the only other Jamaican restaurants in the IE, but I'll make the trip to Moreno Valley just to get oxtail and curry goat done right!
The portions are always generous (I always have enough leftovers from one dinner for lunch the next day) and the flavor never disappoints. I don't know how they do it, but the curry goat is perfectly seasoned EVERY TIME (and never gamey). The jerk sauce could be spicier, but I know they have to tone it down since everyone can't handle authentic drum pan chicken heat.
PRO TIP #1: If you want oxtails, call in and place your order EARLY 'cause they sell out fast! (they're that good)
DISCLAIMER: This review was written under the influence of Jamdung rice & peas 😋

Customer service was not bad but the food was average. Firstly...I paid $40 for one plate!!! And the food did Not have enough flavors. I didn't taste any onions, garlic or thyme, not enough spices. The rice didn't have any coconut flavor and was dry. The oxtail could have been cooked more. My portions were good and I love good jamaican food but this food didn't do it for me. I guess I'm a food snob and I love to cook so if the food doesn't taste better than what I cook then, why would I go back?

*My daughter and I just walked in as new customers. We were not greeted or acknowledged — but okay, one strike isn’t bad. So as we stood there, we went to scan the QR code at the counter to see the menu. It didn’t work. Okay, that’s strike two — a small one, but still.
Next, after 10 minutes, the cashier looks at us and says, in his exact words, “Let me get this guy right here.” Okay, no worries. Another few minutes pass, and then he turns to us and says, “We don’t have any food left — only jerk chicken.” 🤬 is what I wanted to do. Like, you had us stand here in your raggedy restaurant without acknowledging us just to tell me you had no food?
No — let me show you how that should’ve gone:
“Hi! Welcome! Right now we’re only serving jerk chicken. If you prefer something else, we’ll be fully stocked by [insert time].”
That’s how it was supposed to go.
So ummm, no — I won’t be returning. And honestly, I don’t believe you’ll last long
