When I tell you I drove two hours for this food and baby it was worth it. I walked into this little establishment door wide open to no one in the store. So I stared at the menu for a good few minutes before the owner walked in having made an errand for a quick second. She was very warm and welcoming and mentioned that everything was made to order. I had the catfish meal with collared greens and mac & cheese with a side of cornbread. I also added a Kool-Aid which was grape flavor, the best one, and a peach cobbler. I walked out with my steaming bag and made my trek back down south. This food was still hot by the time I got home and let me tell you everything was seasoned perfectly. The crunch from the batter of the catfish to the cheese pull of the mac and the juice from the greens. The peach cobbler and cornbread were the perfect way to end that meal. It was an absolute pleasure to eat this food and had to immediately call the owner and tell her. This little gem is a little hard to find but worth the trek. I will most definitely be back to try the whole menu. Thank you!

soo delicious!! food took a while but only because it’s made to order which means it was fresh and hot!! I got the fried chicken with double mac. the chicken was crispy, hot, and juicy and the mac was cheesy and creamy. will definitely be visiting again.

My go to place for soul food. All dishes she serves are always made to order. It's better to call your order ahead cause it takes a bit longer cause she has to prepare it fresh

Not sure how she managed to get this many FAKE reviews. There were many red flags upon receiving my order. 1. Phone was answered in unprofessional manner that would have deterred most 2.Non existent customers in the background were mentioned 3. Place was very hard to find in a dead lot. 4. When you find the place its dark and was completely empty of a SINGLE customer, not to mention one lonely rude cook waiting for a miserable customer to argue with..she had never cooked my call in order so I left no problemI have never had this type of interaction as I am respectful especially when supporting a business.
