Please avoid this business at all costs! Two days prior to my mother 75th birthday party, I placed an order for chicken and fish. I paid over $300 for the food and was assured by an employee that it would be ready.

When my husband went to pick it up on the day of the party it wasn’t ready; they hadn’t even started. It took the employees 10 minutes to find the order and another 45 minutes to prepare it. By the time I received it, I still had to drive to the venue.

Their delay caused the guest of honor and our other guests, menu of who travel from out of state to attend the celebration .

Everyone had to wait almost 1.5 hours, before they could even start eating!

Also, beware of the portion sizes. Their fillets we split in half and actually comparable in size 2 strips. Their chicken wings were actually drumettes and flats. The seasoning was nothing special, I’ve had better. I live out of state and only ordered from this establishment because a friend recommended their food and the prices were decent.

My dad contacted the owner 2 days later and requested a refund. He apologized then offered us a 12 piece dinner for our trouble.

When my my dad requested at least half of the price, he said a 12 piece dinner was the best he could do and he WOULD’T do anything else!

If I could give the establishment a negative one star rating, I would.

Ok as a kid it was good. As am adult they need to rehire. Now I'm a tone sets your tone kind of person. But when I tell you these babies hate they job. Oh they hate they job. Attitude go crazy. For no reason I could see.

I called in my order before work, grab to go take a bite its the wrong fish. Idk how. Cat and red don't sound they same. This was my second attempt this year because I couldn't make it to my regular place.

Also a month or so before I gave up shrimp because they gave me unclean shrimp. Now I can't even look at a shrimp because what??

And the worst offense of all was my shrimp was unseasoned. I could've gotten over the multiple bad attitudes, the wrong fish, the fact that asking for sauces feels like a crime. But unseasoned fish. I just can't.

I hope they reimagine and get it together. Because the lines used to go crazy. The service used to be friendly. Now IDK. But I won't detour again.

Not a fan of trying everyone’s soul food, however I had ordered some Red Snapper with fries and macaroni salad and I can say that yes I will be returning, I loved it, great place if u want some good well seasons food.

First time coming to that place,,,For the P Boy sandwich , it was really small for 10.00, The catfish was too hard, The peach cobbler was doggie, crush was soggy, too sally, and too much butter, never her of Antony putting salt in a peach cobbler

Absolutely delicious! If you're looking for your fried seafood fix, this is the spot. It's a no frills kind of place with super friendly staff, and fresh food.

Just fish like mama cooked back in the day. Fresh hot and oh so tasty. Can't wait until they get Buffalo fish...but no matter you can't go wrong whatever your taste buds desire.

Small but quant place. Most I do take out. Shrimp and red snapper fire. Do try the gumbo. Reasonable prices. That's what keeps me coming back. Fridays and Saturdays packed. Calling ahead is best.

Got gumbo and a good platter from family that stopped by. Was recommended from a family friend and now I'll have to drive in myself to get more. Gumbo and red beans were delicious.
