Meeting a friend half way from Palm Springs we picked this place at random.
The menu was extensive and the service was great. The food was better than any I have had outside Little Tokyo. The price was very reasonable as well.
The lady at the register was nice. I put in an order for a heart attack and the bake lobster roll as well as a dynamite roll. The rolls fell apart I was unable to use chopsticks or my hands without it falling apart. Also something was off not sure what but it definitely wasn’t the pace I used to loovvvee spoiling myself for. Also it was pretty hot in there.
I had the shrimp killer and the spicy garlic edamame. They were both extremely good. My go to is always the dragon roll so I tried something new and I def was not disappointed. 10/10

Our first time trying Matsuri Japanese restaurant and didn’t disappoint!!! The beef ramen and teriyaki spicy chicken with fried rice was super delicious! And our waiter was super helpful with all the questions we ask! Definitely coming back!

Amazing. Low key. Great fresh sushi, nigiri, sashimi always. Unagi is always excellent. Try the spicy edamame (slaps). Cutie servers, cool chefs, lovely host. Not super fancy, won’t disappoint.
