We went there for my husband's birthday and we went there at 11:55am, and door was locked since they open at 12. The lady comes and unlocks the door, turns around and walks off...not even opening the door to the customers. I thought that was super rude and unwelcoming in my opinion. Once inside, the whole entire place smelled very strongly of bleach.

We have never been here and wanted to try this place. We ordered that appetizer platter, and it was great. Jordan, our server was phenomenal. During our meal, we had an incident, and I told one of the servers, and it was handled very discreetly and quickly. Due to this incident, we will not be going back or recommending it to anyone. Thank you Jordan for the exceptional service. Incident was not your fault.

I was pleasantly surprised the quality of the food has not wavered much! They seem to have the same taste and use the same recipes as they did before the pandemic experiment hit us. I used to go often when living in the high desert but since I've moved to the low desert 🏜 I lost touch with The Steer n Stein restaurant! One day I was shopping with my daughter near Perris/Mo Valley when we spotted their familiar face and their sign. So we stopped for lunch and it wasnt a waste of time or money, at all. We ate well and had leftovers for the next day after sharing a rib eye steak and some cheese sticks! It had the same ole familiar flavor I distinctly remembered from years ago in Victorville! Not a bad deal and it was a great lunch which left no need for dinner that evening but a quick walk around the block was what the Dr ordered, even better!
Came here on our way home after being disappointed at a steakhouse for breakfast glad we stopped by and enjoyed our amazing experience my steak was cooked to perfection and waitress did NOT make us feel like we were a waste of a seat thanks steer and stein the family will be back
