We went there for my husband's birthday and we went there at 11:55am, and door was locked since they open at 12. The lady comes and unlocks the door, turns around and walks off...not even opening the door to the customers. I thought that was super rude and unwelcoming in my opinion. Once inside, the whole entire place smelled very strongly of bleach.
I was pleasantly surprised the quality of the food has not wavered much! They seem to have the same taste and use the same recipes as they did before the pandemic experiment hit us. I used to go often when living in the high desert but since I've moved to the low desert 🏜 I lost touch with The Steer n Stein restaurant! Came here on our way home after being disappointed at a steakhouse for breakfast glad we stopped by and enjoyed our amazing experience my steak was cooked to perfection and waitress did NOT make us feel like we were a waste of a seat thanks steer and stein the family will be back
