Fish and Chip Review7/10Chips and fish are great. Both well fried and crispy, salt is just right. Lack of homemade tartar sauce, vinegar, and slaw make it the score it is.Otherwise the sandwiches are GREAT. Can swap out the bread for other types.

Love AJ's! Great variety, love the Dodgers Suck and Thai red curry cheese steaks. Hard working staff! Good job on estimating pick up times. Limited seating outside tiny shop, to go is the way to go!
Waited 30min for an ok cheese steak. Food was good but definitely not worth a 30 min wait

This place sucks now, and badly too. Everyone that works there is rather rude, there's no effort in the food and they straight up price gouge their customers. I went yesterday for the first time in about 8 months, this place used to be my go too consistently. I placed my order over the phone and was never told a total. When I got there my food was ready and I was paying, when I saw the price I was kind of mind blown. $29 for a cheesesteak and chili tots?! I get inflation and labor costs, but I work in the food industry and I know the cost of food. There is no reason why an order of chili tots should be priced at $12. It's not homemade, it had no love or flavor in it. It was all frozen canned garbage charging a restaurant price for bottom tier quality. On top of that, they skimped so much on my sandwich that cost $15. Like it's kinda embarrassing how empty the sandwich looked. Being the owners are known within the community, it's sad to see them turn their back on everyone in a time of such high inflation and straight up rip off their customers. Why does an order of curly fries or onion rings cost $8.75?!. Just sad to see what this place has become. I'm certainly never returning. This place used to be the spot, but now it's the spot to avoid.

I was surprised the rating were so high after I tried it. Perhaps it is because you a different cheesesteak place would be in San Jose. Well for me the meat was to salty. I enjoyed the bread the most but I couldn’t get past how salty the meat was. I didn’t understand why the fries were 6 dollars and after trying them these are 3 dollar fries. They are bland and are not worth the money. I regret not trying the sweet potato fries. I will say after my experience I will not be back. Really surprised the ratings are so high.

Pretty amazing place. Got the classic with mushroom. So good! Also the garlic fries are not to miss! Cannot recommend enough. Only bad part is that there really is no where to sit down inside. Can be an issue in the bay area evenings when it gets pretty chilly but I would still go if you are in the mood for a Philly cheese steak .
I will stop at AJay's Cheese Steaks every single time I am remotely close to Morgan Hill. The bacon Philly Cheesesteak is so good, I order 2 of them and then can never finish both. They really are a lot of food for the price, and are beyond delicious.

You will not find a better cheese steak... The bread is soft and the meat and toppings are flavorful. They also make amazing garlic fries! Our favorite sub is the Thai curry with extra peppers and sauce.

Nice little spot pumping out some great sandwiches. Quality ingredients, good portions, fresh fries! No wonder why it's been around for so long. Gotta be take out though so don't expect a bunch of seating.
