Smash burgers are SO good. Absolutely no issues there.
We went during farmers market and sat outside with some special boba drinks we had gotten from another booth for my kids. I left them and my farmers market bag on an outside table while we went inside to order. Our table hadn’t been unattended but for 5-10 minutes while we ordered inside and took a picture on the cute couch. We went back outside and our bobas were gone. The employee said she threw them away because of the seagulls. Big bummer. They apologized, but didn’t offer anything like- hey let me get you a (free) water? I must be an old-fashioned elder millennial who still enjoys customer service:(
After receiving our burgers, I noticed we had gotten chips with our order last time and the person I was with said they told her they were out of chips and fries. Yet the price was still $14, even though they didn’t give a side. Again, customer service. Possibly offer a couple of dollars off or a drink? And to think I tipped over 18% for my experience:(

DELICIOUS burgers and quirky beer selection. Extremely friendly staff. I come to Morro every time I drive north just to stop at Babydudes! I hope sometime they expand their food selection beyond burgers, but the quality is so good I hardly mind.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, and got the Chicken Salad Sandwich, along with a Vanilla Matcha Latte. Will say, everything turned out good. Wasn't quite sure what to expect with the Harissa Mayo, but was quite surprised as it was different. Taste like an Indian spice? (I'm not sure) but it was good, went well & the toasted Sourdough is a nice touch. The Matcha latte was also good, not overpowering for those who don't quite like the taste of Matcha. Definitely want to try their Smash Burger!
All in all: Friendly service, cool little spot. Worth trying out if you haven't yet!

Perfect for feeding that smashburger jones!! Perfect customer service over memorial day weekend. ONE wait woman was doing everything & she did it gracefully & with the utmost sincerity. Give this woman a raise & 1.5x at least on memorial day! Patrons, pls tip accordingly!

Went at 3:55 pm and there was a sign saying on the counter saying that the kitchen is closed from 4pm - 5pm and nobody was there to take the order even though it wasn’t 4 yet. Went again at 8:10pm and the kitchen was already closed. No clear working hours

Ok, for those who might think this is “just another burger joint” like I did… let me tell you it is NOT, well it’s is, but it’s so much more than that! I had the grilled cheese, add chicken and pickled red onions, asked for a side of pickles which they were also delicious and I will say, it was the best meal I’ve had on our entire weekend trip. The flavors were so good and unique and I loved every bite! The staff was helpful and quick with the service and the patio was even dog friendly for our sweet pup. My boyfriend got the ohgee which he said had good flavor and tasted fresh and the bread had good structure but was also soft and enjoyable, but to be honest I wasn’t listening to his food review because I was too busy celebrating each delicious bite 🤣 anyways, long story short… go here, eat here, enjoy here.
I interestingly found out about this place from a benigne🥐 posting. I had not heard about it and was confused by the name BABY DUDES, so I did some investigations and found an old ad for $10 burger. I asked around and someone told me they were a food place and the burgers were good. We happened to be in Morro Bay recently and I had the menu as my screensaver so I would specifically remember to try. I looked up on Google which said they were closed on Mondays. There was also no phone number to call. I saw that they were working on opening Mondays soon on an old post on Insta. I DM'd and asked if they were open. They responded immediately "yes". I Google Map 🌏and it says on right side, but unfortunately there is no signage on the marquee facing main street. I drove 🚘by again and just parked and finally found it. We went inside and were waiting to order behind another group. They finished ordering. We moved up and the employee informed us to excuse them and that they would be back. They came back about 4 minutes later, as we were about 1 minute away from leaving.🏃 They took our order , we got 2 smash burgers🍔🍔🍱🍱 and a bag of chips. At this time another couple was behind us. The employee finished our order than left again out the back. I went out and saw that the kitchen🍳 is in an entirely different building🏢 and there was a patio attached to all. On this side there was also a proper sign for the business on the wall. Very nice atmosphere. If I am figuring right, they are hand 🚶🚶♀️running tickets next door after every order. ( There has to be a better way) I stood at the kitchen and the chef 👩🍳brought out our order. They asked if napkins or anything else was needed. We stopped at the 🏖water and 🥤ate. The burger was absolutely delicious and the chips were 🧂🧂🧂salty and yummy🤗🤗. The total was around $30 💵and worth it. The atmosphere is Lounging🎋, fun with pinball🔮 a book 📗nook and a 📀DJ on certain weeks! The place has an alcohol license and I think would kill it if they did wine🥂 tastings or an alcohol🍺 event. I was not a fan of the employee leaving each time to run tickets , but overall the atmosphere and food was great. I would suggest someone update Google with the proper hours a phone number and a major street facing marquee sign and the place would be perfect! I have already recommended the place to 5 people in 2 days!🤙
