ONLY To Go Orders still 6/2022Recommend calling in order before arriving. But they is a good dude parking lot to wait in otherwise.I got vegetable chow mein and pork fried rice. Once preferred or about 10 min for it to be prepared. Vegetables were crisp and fresh and fried rice was good. Really wish they had staff to have regular table seating but unfortunately it's just to go orders only right now.
Delicious freshly made food ,great views and the owner Sophie is delightful, my wife Debbie and I would recommend this restaurant highly
I liked this spot! The man helping was very kind and was understanding when I asked to pay some in cash and some on my card. The cashew chicken was delish and the rice was perfectly cooked. I also liked that I got to do a quick walk along the nice promenade and even heard sea lions barking! So cool.Thank you!
I honestly don’t know how this restaurant has been able to stick around in this town for so long. They used to be located on Highway 1 and back then their food wasn’t very good and was expensive for Chinese food. They re-located to the Embarcadero after the previous Chinese Food Buffet with different owners left. Now the food is HORRIBLE and I believe they use spoiled ingredients, as many posters mentioned there is a strange sour taste to many of their dishes. They have raised their prices to TOURIST RIP OFF level and they give TINI TINY servings which under consideration is probably all you will want to eat for this garbage that they try to pass off as Chinese Food. THIS PLACE WILL LIKILY BE THE WORST TASTING CHINESE FOOD YOU WILL EVER EAT IN YOUR LIFE!… so don’t bother spending a fortune for food that tastes like it’s been taken from another Chinese restaurants garbage bin!….. Please Panda Express come to Morro Bay Pandas Food is 100 times better at 1/4 the price. If you crave Chinese Food go to the grocery store and buy frozen Chinese food I GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL TASTE BETTER THAN THE HORRIBLE FOOD THAT YOU WILL PAY TOURIST TIPOFF PRICES FOR A 1/4 THE COST.
We had good experience with this restaurant for several years. Tonight, we ordered three dishes and the house rice, and returned home with garbage. Each dish was half sauce and had leaked through the cardboard containers. When we transferred what was left to bowls, they were still like soup. The rice tastes like it's only partially cooked. I called to complain, and the manager simply said she was sorry, didn't offer us any discount for inedible food. I called back again and offered to send pictures of these three bowls of soup and she said she wouldn't refund money unless we drove the food back to her in Morro Bay. Worst experience with a restaurant on the central coast in thirty years. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The manager has no respect for her customers.
Authentic Chinese. Not panda Express. My only complaint is the small sizes and tourist prices. But once I tasted it all was forgiven. There's no dine in at the moment.
The worst Chinese food I've ever had in the state. I can't imagine they are still open. Avoid this place and don't waste your money.
Oh my goodness. Where do i start? I pulled up to this place not a single customer. Should’ve trusted my gut feeling and not have ordered from here. DO NOT order the Happy Family Basket. You won’t be happy. No lie it tasted like port a potty water. i gagged at the smell and flavor that i threw up. i just threw it away didn’t even want to call to complain and then i’d receive worst. $17 wasted. So disappointed and now reading the reviews i should’ve read them before. So sad too this might be the only Chinese joint in Morro Bay.
Good food, quick service, but take out only right now.
No inside eating and very limited menu. One of us had chicken chow mein and one of us had beef chow mein. The meat did not taste good, noodles were slimy and both of us had stomachs aches within a few hours of eating
Restaurantji Recommends
No Chicken in my Chicken with Mushrooms dinner.Very sad.:(
Not sure if they were open or not. Definitely in need of an update/remodel. The patio area was unkept and over grown with weeds and dead grass.
After waiting out front for 15 minutes, listening to people chatting in the kitchen, I had to call them on the phone to get them to come take my order. I get covid restrictions, if you don't want people entering your restaurant I understand and respect that, but have someone at least watching the door if I can't enter. The guy didn't even apologize that I was waiting. The food, on its own it was ok, but I can't believe they don't serve rice. It is Chinese food. You should at least have a large sign, saying "you're about to pay for an overpriced meal that doesn't even come with rice." It was disappointing to have paid that much money for a small container of food with no rice.
Good food and good service.
