We had an excellent breakfast at Dorn's Original Breakers Cafe in Morro Bay: the pancakes were delicious, and we especially liked the buckwheat pancakes with blueberries. The classic buttermilk pancakes were quite good as well. Friendly service, nice atmosphere.

Stopped in for breakfast and it was lovely. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of Morro Rock. Food was excellent and fresh. Service was great as well. Best breakfast we had in Morro Bay!

I have the steak, my friends had lobster and steak. I didn't think any of the food was exceptional. A lot of dough for mediocre food.

Great place to eat on Morro Bay.
The steak & ahrimp was cooked perfectly.
Blackened sole was peppery but no overwhelming.
Service was friendly & professional.
There was a 30 minute wait and I could see why. Popular place because the food is excellent

Was just OK. Expectations were high given the reviews but oysters were expensive/ not very good, same w drinks. Oysters not even served on ice which we thought was odd. $70 (not incl tip) for 12 mid oysters and 2 mid drinks. Felt more like a $40 MAYBE $50 experience.

Mixed feelings about Dorn's. Was seated promptly, outside by request. Server Alicia was pleasant & could answer all my questions. Biggest issue was that there wasn't that much I could eat on the menu so ended up with appetizers. The mushrooms were good & filling, & then added a side salad. Had an issue with the wine, which I didn't notice until the bill came. I was hoping to try a small winery called Baileyana, which was at the top of the list. The server put it down as a St. Ross, which was a bit lower. Not having either before I didn't know the difference except in the price. Not pleased, & hope this is not a common occurrence. It was good, but won't be back.

There a LOT of flys (counted 12 in one window)
inside the Resturant 🤢. It ruined the experience for me

The best Bacon & Cheddar omelet, it is stuffed with crunchy bacon, the best ever!. Side of pancakes instead of toast, delicious! Atmosphere and service are excellent. Can't wait to go back.
