We went here for takeaways tonight. The clam chowder was absolutely delicious and the staff were so lovely! However, the scallops were some of the worst I have eaten, over cooked, dry, rubbery. We couldnt eat them, fish was also disappointing!

We ordered calamari and chips to go. They were to perfection. It was worth every cent we paid. My husband and I shared and had plenty for both. We will be sending our family and friends. Highly recommend this place. The best we have ever had. Our thanks to the chef. Very friendly, handsome young guy at the window. How could a person ask for more. I can't wait to say I'm back.

They delivered on all three items we ordered: fish and chips, poke bowl, and clam chowder. Their fish and chips were in my top 3 experiences and my wife said her poke was probably the best she's ever had.

Went yesterday for dinner with my family. We have never tried this place before and was very recommended by many friends and family. We had multiple bad experiences. The cashier was rude asked her what does a menu item exactly have. (Firecracker shrimp) she said shrimp and rice. OK... well I just ordered what we wanted. But worse it took almost 1 hour to get our food! Spent $96! There was tons of people in front and behind us in the line. Tables were all taken everyone had gotten their food and left the ones that ordered before and after us! 50 MINUTES!!! I demanded to talk to the manager when I asked the girl who was at the window giving the food she was rude and just said "some lady wants to talk to the manager!" Now I'm just some lady! When I litterly had asked her like 15 minutes prior about my food she said 5 more min! My toddler was starving and so was my special needs daughter and her blood sugar drops if she doesn't eat at certain times! And it did! We were pissed! Manager did give us the money back but it was ridiculous to have to wait for almost 1 hour for food! We will definitely not be going back to that place! Save your money and time and go somewhere else there's tons of food spots at walking distance. We were not the only ones that they took forever to give the food to. There was 3 other families but they didn't wait for almost 1 like we did.

Great Seafood-Fastfood restaurant freshly delivered from sea to table. My popcorn shrimps were very fresh, tasty, crispy and still juicy. Best quality!The sauces could need some more attention as they were not on the same level. The fish tacos were on average.The service at the counter was friendly and helpful but it is self-service. I liked very much that you they share the tables with everyone - regardless whether you order or not.

We happen upon this place while on our honeymoon. It looked like a popular place since there was a line out front. Turns out the locals eat here so you know it must be good. We ordered fish & chips along with clam chowder in a bread bowl. The food did not disappoint. We loved it so much! Out of all the restaurants in Morro Bay to choose from we ended up eating at Giovanni's again the next night! It's THAT good. We look forward to visiting again.

This was so below average I would not recommend this to anyone definitely not worth the money. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET THE POKE BOWL. Horrible just horrible over priced food go to Tognazzinis just down the street it’s cheaper and tastier and they have live music.

The fish and chips were very good, the clam chowder was okay, overall I enjoyed the bang out of my buck from this place.

This is the 2nd time we have been to this location. They do have some yummy calamari and fries But the price vs portion is not fair in my eyes. We ordered 3 things and 1 $8 beer that came in a small small cup was $80. I was floored. Definitely not worth that much.

This is a restaurant and fish market. Outdoor seating only. Had the fish & chips and deep fried oyster. I thought the oysters were way too greasy. The fish was just average, but French fries were very good. There is always a line, so be patient. The fish market have has a good selection along with live lobster and crab.

This review is for the Giovanni's "Express" window that is next to the parking lot. We didn't realize the regular restaurant was around the back of the building, so we didn't have access to the full menu or the seating by the water. Wish we'd know. The fish and chips was just average. Chowder was good, but not the best we've ever had. Truly, after the hype in Trip Advisor, it was a little disappointing.
