Not too many places worthy of a 5 star rating like this place. The GAFCO is an icon of Morro Bay! Family owned and operated. The food is great. The location overlooking the water is great. Nothing bad to say about this place.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the decor with its sea faring theme. They will love looking over the water as well and seeing all the boats.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair/handicap accessible.

I had the ahí nachos and loved them!. The best place with a view to watch all the otters with their babies right now. I lived the experience!. The service was so sweet and friendly, they even gave us advice for which times are best to come and watch the otters.

The best part of this restaurant is the view of Morro rock and the little bay where you can see sea lions and otters.However, the food was honestly disgusting. I’ve never said that about a place I’ve reviewed. $19 fish and chips on the lunch menu and they were HORRIBLE. Cold, chewy, and fishy. The fries were soggy and cold. Most the people at my table wasn’t happy with their meals either except those who got the clam chowder, they said that was good.I would have asked for a replacement meal—but our server didn’t check on us once even though we were the only table in the place.Overall—I would not return and recommend you find another place to dine.

Definitely recommend getting the "loaded" clam chowder in the bread bowl. Delicious!
Best place for dinner. Fish is great but favorite is the filet mignon steak. It is the best.
