Groggy Scallywag Coffee House

Closed for lunch for 90mins? Someone was sitting at the counter looking at their phone but the door was locked. I went to the organic coffee place not too far away and it was a nice vibe.

The atmosphere was very chill and low key, me and my girlfriend will definitely be coming back every time we do a beach trip. The customer service was incredible and so were the drinks and merch. We had to come back for another coffee before we left it was that good. Words don’t do this coffee house justice and we are always happy to support a local entrepreneur. 10/10 can’t recommend enough plz do yourself a favor and check it out!

If British don’t get tea (London fog). Not good, however, Coffee decent and tasty. Get a cinnamon bun in the shop across 9/10!

Sweet tiny coffee shop, espresso inns ceramic. Public restrooms around the corner. Limited space, but easy to find.
Espresso was of a decent quality, I would say 7.5 out of 10

Went to Morro Bay on vacation and got a chance to get coffee(two of the days we were there cuz it’s so good!!), bagels with cream cheese and sticker. Great quality food, service and atmosphere. Can’t wait to visit again

My husband picked up coffee from Groggy Scallywag Coffee Shop twice in November 2023 while we were in town for vacation. It was the BEST coffee we've had from a coffee shop anywhere. On his second visit, he ordered me the Mocha hot and a Carmel Macchiato for himself. I don't typically like the Carmel Macchiato he would get at other establishments but I asked my husband to try it and it was AMAZING! I wish we had found this place sooner. He had picked up the coffee on our way out of town and I seriously contemplated turning around to get more. The service was also wonderful and very welcoming. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town! The 5 stars this establishment has are very well deserved!

Please do yourself a favor and try out this coffee shop! I have tried the vanilla lavender latte and the salted caramel dirty chai and both were SO good! Just went back twice in the same day. The coffee its self is so good and the way the beverages are crafted is perfect. I love the flavorful layer of foam on top of the hot beverages - honestly already thinking how sad I’m going to be once my Morro Bay trips are ends and I won’t have access to this coffee shop anymore.10/10 must try.

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time and we had a wonderful experience. The lady working was very nice and informative and the atmosphere was great. She got the caramel macchiato and I the peppermint white mocha which was sooo good. The chocolate muffin was also very delicious. We will definitely be returning here again.

I was in town visiting for a couple of days and after visiting a couple other coffe shops, I found this place. Definitely a cut above the rest. If your looking for a coffee spot in the area this is it. Now I have a coffe spot that I will be returning too when in the Morro Bay area.
