I would not recommend this restaurant. While my pasta came out piping hot the shrimp was over cooked and had no flavor. We were a party of 8 and it took 1 hour and 25 minutes for us to receive our food. The two parties around us (one of which arrived after us) were served and got their checks before us. When we addressed it with the manager, he was rude and lacked any kind of customer service whatsoever so ever. I work in the food industry and if any of my employees spoke to a customer like that, they wouldn’t have a job the next day.

While in Morro Bay we decided to try Harbor Hut for a steak as it had been a very long time since visiting the area. There was no wait, service was excellent and the steak and lobster couldn't have been more delicious!! Did not disappoint!

I normally don’t post reviews but I had to this time my wife and I went here to eat and we got a shrimp scampi and one of the workers said it was enough food for two people to share. I thought ok cool for $35 for shrimp scampi it ok but then when we got back home there was only 5 pieces of shrimp and fries and that’s all and I called the place back but unfortunately they couldn’t do nothing about it because the kitchen was already closed

This is our second time here, and both times, they hit it out of the park with service, drinks, and food. Generous portions on everything, and very delicious. (Definitely try the seafood fettuccine and the stuffed salmon!)
Editing: we're back here a year later, and it dipped a little. Service and food were a little more mediocre this time around. Fish was overcooked, and we only saw our server once. But it's still a nice little restaurant to tuck away in. (Better than Tognazzini's!)

The Hut...the restaurant not the fast version out front is our go to for seafood when we are in Morro Bay! The little hut out front also has great food. We just like to sit at a comfortable table and enjoy food with at least a couple of Bloody Mary's first! Oh and I need my oyster shooter fix too! Titos vodka, and bloody mary mix!! We split a fish and chops combo and have an extra cup of clam chowder...

The worse service ever. Our Halibut was so so salty. We couldn’t touch it. They messed up our order. Our appetite got spoiled! We ordered another food but was taking too long. So we left but they charged up full price. No courtesy or anything! They could have at least charged 1/2 the price. They offered us to take the new order home. But we did not trust the quality so we refused to take it home. The salad was not mixed greens it was just a wilted lettuce. Anyways, not a good experience.
