Looking for a good fish and chips place and though this had a decent ambiance for an outdoor patio and good location at Morro Rock, the food was not great. I ordered the shrimp, clams and fries. Three shrimp, a few little fried clams and LOTS of fries. None of which had much flavor. Hubby ordered shrimp and fries. He got a total of five shrimp and LOTS of fries. Again tasteless. Neither came with a side—guess fries was it. We paid too, too much for what we got.

The staff is very rude they got our order mixed up and won’t even apologize, what made it worse is it was mixed with food we have multiple times stated we don’t eat.
The location is perfect wish they had better staff that can match the location

What a shitty place. Doesn't no a thing about customer service with a manager with bad attitude attacking the customer instead of saying sorry and his excuse is that a bunch of teenagers are running place. Whose fault is that?!
(Wrong order violated our dietary restriction)

The shrimp tacos were topped with olives, leafy green lettuce, and Colby Jack shredded cheese…enough said. But they gave us an extra tartar sauce when asked.

I don't know how better other food is, but ours is not. The claim chowder is very salty, and I had much better ones in Monterey and other places.

I used to love this place , used to look forward to eating here but now it seems like the cashiers are getting more and more rude, the guy helping me was being so rude and wasn’t even paying attention to what I was saying and kept talking to his coworker and he kept raising his voice, I ordered a hamburger for my niece and noticed that it was still raw , I didn’t take it back bcuz I didn’t feel like dealing with the workers, still a good place but don’t recommend it

Terrible fish tacos. These are the opposite of authentic. Look like they were made by a 27-year-old hairdresser named Tiffany.

After spending some time wandering the beach I was craving some seafood. Just around the corner by the marina I found this spot. It was a Saturday afternoon and a line had formed. Seemed like a good sign. The line moved quick. Lots of choices. I went with what was touted as the “local favorite” 2 pieces of fish, fries, sourdough bread and cup of chowder. This was about $18. Seafood always costs more but seemed reasonable for a nice sized meal. There are a few tables and around back some counter seating. You order at the window and they give you a beeper to let you know you’re food is ready to pickup. I found everything very good. Fish wasn’t very greasy like fried fish can be. Chowder was excellent. Nice amount of clams in there. Atmosphere and meal were just what I was looking for.

Food was edible but not great, fries too salty and small portions for the price. Best part was the local squirrel that clearly lives off the fish&chips

Cute place with no frills food and good clam chowder. No locally caught fish here yet they’re right next to the fishing boats. The guy taking orders was not real friendly and didn’t know the menu. The salmon tacos were pretty basic with wheat tortillas and lots of lettuce. Would’ve been better Baja style. On a positive note, my mom loves the clam chowder here!

We stopped here for a fish and chips, chowder and hotdogs.
The fish was not crunchy and without taste.
The chowder was without taste and got me sick ? ...
No interest in the clients and rude behaviour to our questions. Disappointing!

I recently tried the clam chowder bowl, and while it certainly had a creamy texture, it tasted more like cream of broccoli than classic clam chowder. I did find a small piece of clam, which was a pleasant surprise, but I wouldn't quite label it as chowder.

On a brighter note, the atmosphere was fantastic! With plenty of seating options and beautiful views, it’s a great place to relax. The staff was friendly, and service was impressively quick. Overall, it’s a delightful spot—just maybe skip the chowder!
