We were told to seat ourselves and waited about 20min for someone to come over even though it was about half empty. We each ordered a drink and decided to order food at the same time just in case the server never came back. The food and drinks came out in reasonable time, but the fries were dry and food was greasy. The “slaw” is just green and red cabbage. Waited a while for the check after eating almost nothing and ended up going inside to ask for the check so we could leave.

Great smoked meats and great portions. Needs more alcohol choices but still very good and highly recommended
An absolute must. Sit at the bar and have a nice jalapeño margarita with a perfect view of Morro Rock! ⛰️🌊

For a few days I had wanted a burger and a beer. We got seats at the bar. My lady wanted a Caesar with anchovies, but they didn't have them, only smoked salmon. We also got the poppers which ended up being cheese balls with a tiny fleck of jalapeno and bacon in each. Cool idea, but the recipe may need tweaking. Burger arrived and I scarfed it. The lady's salad was just OK. The server cleared some plates and took off with the dressing, ketchup, fries -it was near closing and we were almost done, anyway. Beer glass sat empty long enough for me to not feel like another even though I was totally thirsty. Check was 70 bucks, yikes, far cry from the 10-20/person price range. $2 for real avocado on the burger. Whatever. Tourist trap.
Retuning home, my tummy was upset. I have worked as a chef for over 30 years and lets just say my gut has a distinct reaction to unwashed produce. That right there is a deal breaker for me. I'll be going to Foster's next time I crave a burger, they do a better job and I'll have money left over for a case of beer.

First time in Morro Bay and I am satisfied with Morro Grill where we chose to eat dinner. Such a beautiful view and the food was amazing! Creamy soup, crispy fish, best bacon on the burger! The service was great!! Tip extra!

Has a beautiful view of the bay. Went to try the chowder everyone raves about. The clam chowder was rich and creamy and so good. My husband tried the roasted red pepper soup which was good as well. I had the baja fish tacos. Huge amount of food and very good. My husband had the ribs. They were ok. The cole slaw just not so good. Alot of french fries and they were good. The bread served with the soup and ribs was so very good, great flavor. Disappointed because when the soup was brought out, the server told us the rest of our order was ditting under a heat light until we were ready. We actually had to call the restaurant to have the server bring thre rest of our food. So while the food was decent, the service could be improved. May go back for the chowder and to try a burger.

Food was good, service was very good, and the atmosphere was very comfortable and natural. You can watch sports or you can sit outside and enjoy the view.

Burger looked really appealing, but patty was heavily seasoned/borderline salty. Onions were halfway caramelized. Thin cut fries were awesome along with the ranch.
Service could be better. I was the only one inside the restaurant, I had just started watching a soccer game that I requested, but waitress brought me my receipt. Hadn't even finished my first beer or burger. Killed my whole vibe.

Really great place for dinner. The BBQ pork sandwich was excellent, but the fish tacos were slightly overcooked. Indoor and outdoor seating by the bay. I'd definitely come back again.

What a lovely spot. The grilled fish tacos are super yummy and the view is priceless. I came back with my wife and she was very happy with the staff, Lindsay was very helpful making sure that menu items were gluten free I had the fish tacos again and she had the pulled pork with a gluten free bun.
