Dropped in on Christmas Eve morning...really friendly welcome by the proprietor and his co-host. Excellent Cafe au lait and savory quiche. The Kentucky cake bars were out of sight. Family recipe...delicious. Grabbed a couple to go after downing the first. The vibe of the place is one that comes of good fun life energy.
A Cali must visit if you truly want to feel the vibe. Rudy is central California. Vibrant, funny, cool, welcoming. Killer breakfast burrito! Not your average offer. Just the right amount of avo, with hints of one spice, then another as you travel through the burrito. Don't leave without discussing the power of a band's rhythm section, local art, or how Rudy met his wife. Your day will be better for it.
Went here last week, staff was all really nice and most customers seemed to know each other well! The owner is really friendly, expressive, passionate, and knows the area really well. Me and a friend were taking a trip to Morro bay, and he gave a great suggestions on a trail to hike. This place also had really good Frapes, much better than chains in my opinion. I would most certainly go back if I was in the area!
