Excellent place to grab dinner and a beer. The staff was great - friendly and super on top of everything. Dinner was great, our family tried 4 different things and they were all perfect, everything tasted amazing! Love the history of this spot - give them a try - well worth a visit!

Me & my wife were looking for a spot to watch the Dodger game Friday night. When we got to Sammy J’s they couldnt find it . But those bartenders went above & beyond to find our game!! We are definitely going back!!! Oh the Club sandwich we had was 🔥💣

Delicious Mother's Day All You Can Eat Brunch at this new Irish Pub. Traditional Irish Tea and Coffee. Love the location. This place has a lot of potential to be an iconic Morro Bay Pub and Eatery. Delicious gravy and chorizo y huevos! Sammy and Jorge were awesome.

We arrived about 15 minutes after opening at 2:15 and other than a lonely soul sitting at the bar, we were the only ones there. The menu as advertised is misleading as we were told the daily special wouldn't be ready till 4pm. We ended up with the Shepherds Pie which was nothing more than ground beef with a minimum sampling of peas and carrots with mashed potatoes and a dollop of cheese in the middle with what appeared to be the oil from the ground beef. They don't have a liquor license so no Irish Coffee and a Virgin Mary was out of the question. The server never asked if I wanted a refill of my iced tea and no coffee was offered. The chairs were not comfortable, so don't plan on staying to long. We were expecting some Irish music playing instead we were treated to a bevy of 60's songs from the juke box. St. Paddy would not be proud. Hopefully the owners will re-think what the place could be.

Best French dip around. It's almost like a Philly cheese steak French dip crossover.

Stopped in tonight for a beer and ended up ordering a Shepard’s Pie as well. It was the BOMB! Have been here before and had a burger and the Sunday Brunch - both excellent. Great food and friendly staff. Wish they had a full liquor license/bar and more beer selections - maybe in the future. Definitely a place to visit when you are in MB
