Sweet Reef Boba + Taiyaki Morro Bay

Average boba but it was obviously still boba so it was good. Taiyaki was meh.

Come to this city 3 times a year and the past 2 years I’ve made sure I come to Sweet reef. I DREAM about the tarro cream cheese filling. The owner has always been super down too, it’s a great place

The drinks and the boba were delicious. The taiyaki was also good however it was not cooked all the way as the part with the filling was dripping out uncooked batter. Overall a pretty nice boba place just wished the taiyaki was cooked all the way.

Pretty rude cashier, if anyone asked how long is the wait asked he keeps suggesting giving money back. But people asking because no one was given number or even receipt. So there is a mess with people trying to understand whose order is given away.
And the saddest part is that taiyaki is not that good

Best Boba and Taikaki we've ever tried. This place was amazing. I loved it there and the whole city is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

These guys were super nice and chill. We got the house tea boba which was really good, boba were nice and soft. The taro milk boba and MB sunrise was also fantastic. We tried all of the taiyaki and they were all fire but the Nutella and cream cheese taro were our favorite.

The oatmilk horchata is fantastic. The other tea options are a hit or miss for me tbh. Its not strong enough. The workers are very nice and it's cool that morro bay has a Boba place.

There are a few stool to sit, and enjoy the Boba. Small space, but under new ownership, and he is making it awesome! The Taiyaki waffles are delicious, sweet treat. Love the Taro Root Boba too.

I love everything about this place. The new owner is a super nice guy. The vibe is great and the boba is delicious. If you’re on the Embarcadero you should definitely check this place out. Don’t miss out!!

Thrilled to finally have boba on the coast! When staying in Cambria or Cayucos, I used to have to go to SLO. No longer! Mike made me a great custom tea and made sure it was exactly to my taste before I left the store.
