Excellent green curry. Tastiest food in Morro Bay
Great food... Fantastic flavours... Tom yum and Tom Kha soups lovely... Thai green and pineapple curry both great... very nice
Returned in June 2025 and a bit underwelmed... 3rd visit here over 3 years and whilst spring rolls and beef Thai were great the, allegedly large, Tom Khair mixed seafood soup was seriously lacking in seafood... A couple of pieces of fish and squid and a king prawn was it!!!! Very disappointed
Absolutely love this place, grew up in Morro Bay Area and always come back to it. The food has always been incredible and lives up to my expectations of some great Thai food. I can’t think of a time I came here and either had a bad experience or disliked the food. On top of the amazing dishes, their service is amazing with relatively quick orders, inclusive staff and lack of issues ordering. Love the area and location, just wish maybe one day the seating area is expanded to invite more people to enjoy Thai elephant. I recommend either the green curry or of course some good chicken pad Thai.
Friendly folks. Generous portions. Seems popular with the locals too
Nice place, delicious food, excellent service.
Very good Thai food
Visited the area for a long weekend and had dinner here our first night. Service was great, enjoyable atmosphere, and easy to get vegan/vegetarian options. We got tofu pad thai, tofu yellow curry, and tofu fresh rolls. Fresh rolls were great, loved the peanut sauce. Yellow curry was more like soup consistency, we were expecting it to be thicker like we’re used to at other Thai restaurants. Pad thai was decent, though certainly not the best we’ve ever had. Overall, the dinner was alright, but we would probably try a different thai place before going back.
Although items are not labeled vegan on the menu, the wait staff were obviously very familiar and quick to accomodate. All of the dishes we ordered were of a very high-quality and large portioned. Look forward to returning!
The mock duck was unusual so I ordered it in the jungle green curry. It looked good but lacked “bite” - a bit too soft. Curry was ok, perhaps I should’ve asked for more spice. Fresh spring rolls were also ok. As a single diner I was seated right next to the take out counter, which was distracting, and I was separated from all other diners! But service was friendly and attentive; it was a busy Tuesday night.
We ordered mixed veggies and a curry dish. Excellent. Warning: The Drunken Noodles are NOT vegan! Like a lot of their dishes, they have oyster sauce. Updated from previous review on 2024-10-28

If I don’t come back here before I die, may my spirit linger on this earth because it is too damn good

The service was fast and kind. We sat for dinner, as we sat the waitress gave us ice cold water with lemon. We ordered rice teriyaki and noodles, the food came out fast and very good, fresh ingredients and large portions.
