Tognazzini's Dockside Restaurant

When ever I travel to the Morro Bay community I visit Dockside, even have left my residence at 0500 a.m. for breakfast and of course dinner. Really good food, nice view of bay...but more over the friendly staff. One of my favorite restaurants on the coast. Come and have a pleasant dining experience.

Got fish & chips for $18; got 3 tiny pieces that tasted flat. Fries were good. Didn't care for the clam chowder, either. Did not taste like clam chowder.
The ambiance and service was great,
though. :)

Save your money! I tried to like this place, but the nice view couldn't overcome the horrible service and tasteless greasy food. Stay away from the fish and chips!

Food was on point, service was fast. Waitress needed a break, but otherwise it was definitely worth it. Dog friendly at outdoor tables.

We have been here about ten to twenty times. Our fish has been under cooked 50% of the time. Last night it was scary under cooked. That is when I was informed that I would be o.k. after taking a bite, because it had been flash frozen at sea, which begged the question: "why did it need to be flash frozen?" Don't ask this question. Anyway, it was pretty gross tasting. Though we both ordered the same dish, our fishes were both seasoned differently and looked different, begging more questions. The clam chowder was good, but it didn't come with crackers. Our bill is consistently $80 for two people, including the tip. Our Server was awesome and tried to help. She offered various solutions, but, today I feel like I need to do a cleanse after eating there. I don't know... but we are going here again.

It really hurts me to give this place an average rating but the food was mediocre. It's not how I remember it.

We couldn’t have stumbled into a better place! Cassandra was amazing! Best clam chowder I have ever tasted. We sat outside and were able to get the fishing experience watching the fresh fish come in off boat. It’s a must !!! Thank you!

We went to a friend's wedding in San Ynez, stopping by Morro Bay on a Sunday expected everything to be closed early, found Tognazini's Dosckside market and restaurant with live Music young kid named Andrew playing jimmy buffet and acoustic guitar tom petty, Monkeys, Eric Clampton, Jonny Cash, John Lenon, and simular dock of the bay like songs. Such a great guitarist, great kids place, easy access for roller blade skaters to bicyclists, wheelchairs accessories, great foot, great service. Fantastic Paso Robles fine wine at a great price too!

Literally the absolute best customer service I have ever ever had. The waiter James was so incredibly kind and considerate to my family and I, and especially for my baby boy! He went above and beyond to make sure that my baby had food he could actually eat plus when I mentioned that it was my baby’s 1 year birthday he brought out whipped cream with cut strawberries and even went out of his way to cut the blueberries as well! Not only that but as babies do, my son was making quite a mess and they were so kind to clean up his area once he was done eating ??

Also the clam chowder is literally the best I’ve ever had!! Thank you guys so much for your service and kindness!!!
