Outdoor seating was nice. Enjoyable views of the Bay and Morro Rock. It was a little unpleasant at times because of the presence of flies.

The location and atmosphere are fantastic. Enjoyable place to hang out. They usually have live music. My wife and I found the food to be okay, not great.

Tognazzini’s Dockside is basically two restaurants in a trench coat. You’ve got the chill dock outside with music and drinks, and the proper inside spot for dinner. Start on the dock for a beer or wine. If the mood hits, stay put and order salmon tacos. If the fog rolls in like a stealthy sea blanket, retreat inside and feel smart about it.

On clear days you get the full Morro Rock poster: boats posing, seagulls acting like unpaid security, a few humans wandering through the shot. On foggy days you get a sweatshirt, your breath, and the intimate thrill of guessing where the ocean went. Bring friends or family and the whole thing turns into a seaside sitcom.

Staff is very accommodating. The food costs real money and tastes fine. Not bad. Not a life event. Verdict: go for the dock vibes, music, and easy salmon-taco happiness. Budget for the view. Pick a clear day if you want the rock. Pick a hoodie if you do not.

This is an excellent place on the dock of the bay. Best atmosphere for enjoying Morro Bay. Heard great live musicians. Fresh fish selections looks very good. Good for sunset dinner. Owner seems very involved in making this place the best. The staff is some young cool happy people. Also very dog friendly. Don't expect high class shit, just down to earth class.

A friend suggested this place and we were not disappointed, from delicious oysters in the shell to amiable service, great chocolates and salt water taffy.

Just another restaurant that rips you off for A “service fee” of $5.00 today which is supposedly to cover “actual” card fees. Didn’t notice until we were back home. Shrimp were good but what a rip off!!
