My favorite restaurant!! The best bbq oysters.... eat outside with live music, great vibe, great food. I love to visit California just to come here for the bbq oysters.

We came here for lunch and the place was packed! We waited a bit for tables and seats to clear up. Live musician playing next to door. Go in and place your order. They will call out your name and you go back in to pick up your food. Best to come with multiple people so someone can save seats/tables and another person to help bring out your food. We got the clam chowder bowl. Big potatoes pieces. Fried fish and French fries. Fish size seems a bit small to me but everything was fresh and hot when we got it. This is also a dog friendly establishment with great views of Morro Bay.

This place was on my list of places to try for a good while now, and I am glad I did today. It was super good and they had live music. What more can you ask for?! Good food! Good music! Great view! I'll definitely be coming back next time to try other items that they have!

FIVE STARS! Insanely fresh seafood here. We tried the grilled & fried fish taco, shrimp cocktail, and THE BBQ OYSTERS. The oysters were amazing, seasoned so well and so juicy and tender. The fish was so fresh it was falling apart and flaking as I ate it. The shrimp was also extremely fresh, and I loved the addition of avocado, cilantro, and the other yummy toppings. My boyfriend and I silently devoured our food in about five minutes. COME HERE. Prices are right too... I was so impressed.

When you walk inside, it's not immediately known what exactly you should do about seating. You look and there's already a sea of people sitting down in the small patio so it looks discouraging, and there's no one there to guide you except a large line, but if you find an open table, you can sit and eat there. The tables are right along the edge of the wharf so you can see the ocean as you eat and there's umbrellas above the table to help with the sun. The wait time for the food was around 30-40 minutes which wasn't a problem with us as we saw there were lots of people. The problem we had though, was all of our food came out SUPER cold and soggy except the tri tip sandwiches and oysters. None of us wanted to eat or could even enjoy our food due to the fact that it was just gross.. Had the food not been cold and given to us when it was still fresh, I'm sure it would've been enjoyable. We all got boxes to take our food home and ate somewhere else. The customer service was good and they had live music for the people eating, but don't expect to hold a conversation with your table guests as the musician is RIGHT there with the people as they're eating so it's booming. Not sure if we'd try them again. It's a Maybe from me.

Tognazzini's Dockside Too is a fast-casual restaurant, with all the diners sitting out on a large open patio that featured a live musician and clear view of beautiful Morro Rock. The very fresh oysters, the tuna-melt sandwich with quality tuna, the smoked shrimp taco, and the fried clams with fries plate were all delicious, per family members. The veggie burger ("garden burger") and house salads were also very tasty. Reasonably priced, Tognazzini's Dockside Too offers a great place to enjoy a good meal along the Embarcadero in scenic Morro Bay!

I admit, I am bias to north of Boston, east coast seafood. This restaurant, right on the water was nice, and the waitress was super. She even spotted me piece of apricot pie. The seafood is ok, if you are not a New Englander.

Such a great find for us! The BEST French toast and hubby's breakfast burrito was very delicious also! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, on the water. If you're in Morro Bay, give this place a try. You won't be sorry!!

I used to love this place. Until I met the owner today. I rode over three hours to have lunch here and they're closed. When I asked why they wouldn't simply post that, the owner said he doesn't have time and wished me luck. The manager said the owner's daughter runs social media and was told they wouldn't be open today but still nothing is posted. They were sorry, but not enough to do anything. He was just too busy to spend 60 seconds hearing a regular patron that travels to eat here. I'm pretty understanding, I offer much grace... this guy just went out of his way to present himself, and the business, in a very poor way. Regardless of how good the food and experience may be, I just can't support this guy/his business. Sad day.

We heard about this place from a you tube recommendation and it did not disappoint. We had the best bbq oysters I ever had, super fish and chips - very light and not greasy. Also, the bbq shrimp tacos are to die for. There outdoor seating is next to the water and we were entertained by playful sea lions and otters. Stop here if you get a chance.

I can't stop eating!! I started off with 2 grilled salmon tacos, then I saw cooked jumbo shrimp that I had to have as my appetizer. Then I tasted my friend's chicken tenders. Then I tasted my friend's clam chowder and HAD to have a small bowl of my own! We were entertained by a lovely local guitarist, Spike Burr. You will LOVE this restaurant! Seating is limited so order, pay and go stakeout at table. Order a variety of food and share. You will not be disappointed.

Found this spot on our way down to SLO. There is a sit down restaurant and this is place is self seating/ordering. After we ordered we took a seat and quickly the place got busy after we settled down! Glad we beat the rush. Our order did take a while but it was worth it! Everything was made fresh and tasted amazing! The scallop kebab was my favorite. I usually eat oysters raw but the BBQ oysters was nice for a change. Loved the buttery sauce on top. The clam chowder has a lot of meat and was large enough to share amongst 2 people. All the food we ordered was perfect for two. So happy we found this spot! We will come back whenever we drive down home from the Bay Area.

Poor service. Forgot drinks order. Ordered grilled seafood combo it was overcooked and subsequently very dry and mostly inedible. I tried to tell the waiter why I left most of the fish but I ended up talking to his back as he hurried off. Plenty of other choices will not return.

Great food with a view of Morro Rock, usually with Wally playing live music.
