I thought for a place called “plant powered” it was going to if not be all vegan at least have lots of vegan options. But there’s not much to choose from. There’s avo toast, overnight oats and 1 or 2 sweet treats but that’s kinda bare minimum imo.

Very cute place, nice staff but coffee was expensive and wasn't hot. They were busy in morning with only 2 employees making coffees and food and got slammed. So disappointed in my capuccinos

Delicious drinks & food. Engulfed in a lovely
Slough setting with indoor & outdoor seating. I’ll keep coming back!

I stopped after paddling in Elkhorn Slough at The Power Plant Coffee. It's a great space with nice seating and beautiful plants. The staff was very polite and quick. There was a really wide range of food and drinks (both coffee and other) products available.

I got a breakfast sandwich which was delicious and very substantial. The coffee was great so I got a second one to go.

I will definitely stop by after my next paddle.

Good coffee and service. Lots of plants, very nice atmosphere overall. If you drive on highway 1 from Santa Cruz to Monterey certainly worth a coffee stop. (Ask for Erik, he may be nearby).

I got the guacamole toast and the mixed berry smoothie. Take note that the mixed berry smoothie is not vegan by default, but they said they could make it vegan for me. (Did not confirm, but I am guessing they replaced honey with dates as sweetener.) The smoothie was tasty, though not quite fully blended - I found a few small date chunks in the bottom. The guacamole toast was excellent; the thick toast tasted fresh and was chewy, not too hard.

Stopped by for a smoothie after our whale watching trip in Moss Landing. We had the Mixed Berry smoothie and it was great. Large seating space, clean restrooms and ample parking.

Nice place to stop off on you're way to, or from, Monterey. Mushroom, egg on brioche is tasty. I would prefer more herbs and mushrooms. But, the flavor is there.
