This place is amazing! I ate here every night while I stayed at the Inn. I can’t even wrap my head around how amazing the food is. My background is in cuisine. So, I can confidently say that Sarah is a genius. Duck ragú, Peruvian chicken, braised ribs, braised lamb shank, Caesar salad….wow. I wanted to try everything on the menu. I still do. I came to this restaurant because of the high reviews, and was staying at their partner hotel. We waited almost an hour for our food to arrive, then ordered bread, that I had to cancel after waiting for 20-30 minutes and finishing my food (this is for bread, not a meal)Now, I understand this is a small town with 1 person in the kitchen, one in the bar, and one in the floor. Communicating how long the food takes or help order items that won’t take long goes a long way. I have worked in the restaurant industry as well, there’s no reason why a salad should take 20-30 minutes to come out with less than 20 guests.Restaurant has decent food, the waiters are not bad, but you need to either hire more people or simplify your menu, NO ONE wants to wait 1 hour for the food to come out.

The dining experience was fantastic, with exceptional food and attentive service from our waitress, who was both friendly and knowledgeable. The Brussel sprouts and lamb she recommended were absolutely delicious, and I must add that the apple cheesecake was truly awesome.

Great addition to the city! Glad I finally had a chance to try this place on a visit to Mt Shasta. They were busy and had a few items out by the time we were ordering at 7:30pm, but friendly staff and delicious food!

Really great food and service for the two times we have been there. They had a lamb special and it was so amazing. I also enjoy their cocktails, pretty much the only place where you can get a good one locally.

Had the best chicken. I’m Northern California as I was told. Good chicken dinner comes with Mac n cheese. Sat by the fire would love to check their other meal options as they seem to sell out. Check ‘em out I did.

Absolutely stoked about this place! We’ve stayed at Mt Shasta Inn often and are so glad to see a restaurant here. The food was fantastic. From a spoiled city girl palate: HELL YES and thank you! We had the ravioli and the brussel sprouts. Both some of the best I’ve ever had. Wish I ordered more things. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

My review is based on my husband's visits to the Harvest restaurant weekly. I have not had the opportunity to enjoy their menu or the amazing people who run this great restaurant as he boasts to me. My husband frequents the Harvests for lunch or dinner 2-5x a week. He was first introduced to the Harvest when I booked him on site at The Shasta Inn. He really enjoys the variety on the menu and the people that make this place thrive and that's why he keeps going back. (Menu was recently changed during the month of 10/2023)There was one late evening when he ordered a salad and they were out of some of the ingredients. My husband is not picky and the chef came out and asked him if he was ok with making a salad with what he had. Of course my hungry hubby was ok and you will see by the picture my husband sent me he loved it. The restaurant itself is has a great bar, tv for sports, a fire pit, great customer service and food, and is close to the freeway. NOTE: Remember for those of you traveling from out of town to please be patient. This is a small town up in the mountains. They are not always fully staffed, and that is ok because you are going to receive wonderful service and great food.

The cozy, nice ambience doesn't make up for the rest. I was traveling and stopped at the attached Shasta Inn for the night when it got dark. It was a bit late and the dinner rush seemed to be over. I just wanted something light and quick so ordered a bowl of soup and water. Since it did not come with bread, I requested some. I waited at least a half an hour until finally asked another waiter what was up with the order. Another ~15 minutes and the soup of the day arrived. It would have been tasty but it was barely warm so was not. I did not send it back because I was wanting to get the heck out of there, get to bed and continue my trip early the next morning. The bill was $22.05 for soup & crisp cold bread. So . . . service was ridiculously slow, food was unacceptable and cost was not commensurate with food received. Disappointing.
We had a wonderful experience at Harvest! The food was excellent, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was cozy and rustic.

Food was really good, we had pesto ravioli and butter noodles , the chocolate cake dessert was very large and tasty. The only problem was we were waiting for a really long time to get even our drinks and bread to start due to a large party before us. The restaurant had only 2 waitstaff do it was understandable, overall ambiance was cozy and family friendly. Recommend this place.

We stayed overnight at a Shasta Inn and came here for dinner. What a treat. Dinner was delicious, the cocktails wonderful the service on point and the owners so friendly. They were busy and rightfully so. Definitely check out this restaurant if you’re traveling through Mount Shasta area!
