Highland House Restaurant

The food, the staff, and the location are all top notch. Whether you're looking for a burger, pasta, steak, or a cocktail, you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is their steak flatbread (trust me, from the chewy, pillowy crust to the tender and juicy steak to the balsamic glaze, it's prefectly executed, and downright addictive).

Food was not just terrible, the server brought the starters and entrée at the same time. Our beer had a thick layer of foam, garlic fries was basically regular fries with minced raw garlic on top. Black bean burger was good. Cajun fries were more crisp than garlic fries. Fish and chips were average, No cole slaw. I wouldn't go here again

We had the best dinner! Jameson took great care to explain and answer any questions on the menu - served us perfectly and couldn't have been more attentive! The menu is diverse and was hard to choose from so many great items. My husband had the flank steak- it was superb!! I had the fish tacos/ outstanding! The ambience and the view are amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jameson!

We enjoyed delicious appetizer (strawberry crostini) and amazing salads! Setting and view of Mt Shasta was beautiful and the service was great as well! Highly recommend you stop by for a great meal!

Just had a meal here after hiking 7 miles on Mount Shasta on our last day in town, and it was the most amazing way to end our Fourth of July weekend. The staff is beyond friendly—Jameson, our waiter, was so attentive and lovely, and another waitress even stopped by to help when he was busy, offering me foil for my to-go bread so it wouldn’t get soggy with the pasta. So freaking thoughtful!

The food was so delicious—I had the pesto tortellini from their specials menu and it was perfection. And the views of Shasta? Just chef’s kiss. Feeling so grateful to have ended our trip with such a lovely meal here. Highly recommend!

The ribeye that we had was good but we enjoy the flank steak much more. The potatoes and asparagus were good as usual!
