This was a wonderful surprise. We had heard they have new/old owners and decided to give them a try. We arrived for Happy Hour and enjoyed a Margarita and Beer. Then the food arrived. The Mochete was amazing and a very large portion. The beans and rice were flavorful and fresh. Husbands Enchiladas were also delicious. Our waitress was sooooo sweet and knows so much about the area. We will definitely be going back! This is the closest to Authentic Mexican food I have had in years.

My wife and I came here for dinner because of the four-door margaritas the four four-door margaritas were very weak. I cannot smell or taste any tequila. That is a big turn off but what was worse was the food I had a chicken burrito very simple to make, but they did not put any chicken, and if they did, I could not find it too much rice and beans mainly rice you could call the chicken burrito a rice burrito my wife had taquitos. She said there was nothing inside them either very weak.

Best Mexican food in Mount Shasta. Homemade tortillas were a nice touch. The salsas are authentic and freshly made in house. So good!

As of March 2023, La Perla has the best Mexican food in Mt Shasta City. The street tacos are simple, but on-point with handmade tortillas. The birria is tasty and enchiladas are hot and made with enchilada sauce from scratch (not a can).

Parking: Only room for a handful of cars, but you can park down the street

Cost close to 25 $ for three little tacos. Meat needs some flavor and a hotter grill.I am from the vally, and the worst taco truck is better than this place. Worst Mexican food I can remember eating.

Bobby came and catered an end year gathering for the Salmon Scott Ranger District in Fort Jones. They came early to cook tortillas on site. The food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely eat here again!!!!

Food was okay. Service was friendly and accurate, but way too much cilantro on the tacos. Salsa bar was decent and fresh. Only major complaint: When a restaurant serves tea, suppy low or zero calorie sweetener such as steviia or sweet and low. Not ALL customers want sugar in their tea.

We came because I read a few good reviews and wanted to try their street tacos. I recalled how much I liked this resturant when it was located in Dunsmiur, but then heard about the ownership change and how the resturant went down hill soon after. I'm glad we gave the new location a try. The tacos were good, service was friendly and the salsas & hot sauce were excellent additions to the steak & shrimp tacos we had. I plan to come back and try other tempting menu items soon.
