We recently visited Pipeline Craft Taps & Kitchen and had an unfortunate experience with the service. We called ahead to check the wait times as we were in a rush and were told it would be 15 minutes, with the option to order takeout. Upon arrival, we inquired about seating availability and were kindly informed by the hostess that we could sit at the bar. We added a tip to our takeout order to be respectful of the service.
However, when we were about to sit, the bartender asked what we needed. We explained our situation, and she walked away looking disapproving. To ensure we were okay to sit at the bar, we asked her again and we were begrudgingly told we could sit at the bar table behind. As we were about to sit, she started to talk about us to other guests, making us feel completely unwelcome. We decided to leave instead.

We provided feedback to the hostess, who was very kind and apologized. The burger we had as takeout was delicious, but unfortunately, due to our experience with the service, we likely will not be returning.

Best burger I've had in a long time, staff were friendly and food came out quick. The selection of beer was good.

This is an amazing dining option if you're visiting Mt Shasta city. Great burgers and Mac n cheese.

Service could have been a bit faster, but the staff was very friendly and gave free refills for the drinks we ordered.

Great place to stop for lunch, or just grab some tasty drinks. I appreciate having more than just burgers to eat at a brewery style restaurant. You will see us again!

The waitress recommended the Ahi Bowl, but with the bistro steak from the steak salad. I substituted more greens instead of rice and cabbage. It was SO GOOD!!!! My tastebuds were in heaven. The sesame dressing is phenomenal. Would have taken a photo sooner but I couldn’t stop eating it. 🥰

Food- been here a few times play the past couple years and overall it's a really good place to eat it does get busy during the snowboard ski season but they get you in and get you seated in as soon as they can! The food is amazing, the classic pipeline Burger to go eat good, the tie noodles are extremely good and the chicken sandwich is so much better than any fast food restaurant. They also have homemade sodas, they are very expensive and you do not get free refills but they are very good

Service- the service was good, not the best in the world but they were very busy so definitely understandable! Are waitress was very kind and attentive to us, she made sure to check up on us the best she could

Atmosphere- it's a brewery and restaurant, it's kind of self-explanatory. It wasn't Extremely Loud, but it was somewhat busy for dinner time but overall the experience was great

Great atmosphere, attentive staff, lots of choices for beer, and a rotating cider . There are many options from different breweries. Food is on point and reasonable. They recently opened in Redding as well. Will definitely check the new location out, too. Stop in and have some good eats In Mt. Shasta .

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat front entry level door. Ada parking and ramps nearby .

Beware of your bill and up charges. I’ve been here about 5 times now. Prices are high for a small burger with fries ($30 without any drink) but I’ve taken friends here as I like the food and atmosphere. However, at this point there is a good chance I won’t be back.

Every time I’ve been here (except once when someone else paid), it feels like I’ve been nickeled and dimed for things that were not up front on the menu or were the opposite of what I was told when I asked an employee.

For example, my first visit here they upcharged all 8 of us a few dollars each for duck fat fries after we asked if anything comes with the burgers and waitress gave us several options, one of which was duck fat fries (with no mention of up charges, nor does the menu have the info). They wouldn’t honor her word, so We all paid the extra.

Another time, I was charged for a gluten free bun despite being told it was the same price as the regular bun before ordering. When I told the waitress she agreed it should be free but did nothing to reverse the charge. (It’s nice that they have gluten free bun tho)

Last week, a friend and I each ordered the same burger at the new Redding location but they each were a few dollars extra when the bill came. We showed the waitress the menu price and she said “oh the menu is wrong, the bill has the correct price.” We asked a few ways kindly but she wouldn’t honor the menu price we expected to pay when we ordered. She assured us new menus were being printed tomorrow. A week later and their menu (paper) still reflects the incorrect prices.

Tonight, a friend and I ordered 2 full meals and drinks. We spit them so we could have some of each and we were charged several dollar split fees without our knowing it. We hadn’t even asked for an extra plate.

It’s the little things that add up to create a customer experience and sentiment. I’m tired of leaving with a bad taste in my mouth and feeling like I’m supporting a business that’s all about the money. It also Seems like each time I go I’m liking the food less because of it. Sadly, I likely won’t be back or recommending pipe line anymore.

I didn’t order any drink and just my small burger and fries was $30 with tip. Same for my friends salad. Seems high to me.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bun is an option. Servers say it’s supposed to be free but we were charged.

Cold and sterile atmosphere. Food looked fancy, but we didn't get to that, as we were seated and not bothered with again. Waited 20 minutes for service, when the waitress walked to a table of four, that arrived after us. We left, we were hungry and being ignored. Ended up in a much nicer place down the road.
Seeing the food it looked fancy, prices too. They are much better options around ..
