This place served excellent coffees and hot chocolate. But service was a bit slow.

Had a pour over, 3/5 for taste, was a bit acidic. Very contemporary decor, reminds me of somewhere where you’d meet with a therapist or have a group meeting to talk about your emotions.

I am not trying to be rude but I had way higher expectations coming to this place. They don’t have white mocha , I asked for a coffee and got it in a to go cup for some reason and they didn’t even let me know my coffee was done until it was sitting there for a minute . Idk I just thought it would be nicer with how fancy it looks online from the reviews ! The photo I put is a picture of their large , I paid 6.50 for that and it wasn’t even sweet I asked for a carmel latte:(

I come on the weekend for a delicious coffee. The pecan pie coffee with half & half milk is velvety and yummy ?

The sheer ultra modern coffee shop look feels like it's designed to clean up coffee spills easily at the cost of actually being welcoming.. Felt coffee shamed for ordering a pour over by the batista because it was the "long one to make"
?
Don't have it on the menu if don't want to make it... Reno coffee, in Reno, NV would not consider this a "long" drink to make.
But shy of those things, the energy still persists as welcoming. And the coffee is not bad.

Very cozy modern minimalist design interior. Nicely roasted coffee. Interesting coffee selection. Nice selection of pastries to go with coffee. Many tables and booths for folks to sit, relax or work. WiFi was good. Sat here for couple of hours to get work done.
Vegetarian options: Coffee place with pastries.

I love that Shasta finally has an actual coffee shop as I can them. Perfect coffee shop vibes. I legit want to just live here. The only thing I'd say is a con is that there's no real food options for someone intolerant to dairy or vegan. I wish there was a hardy food option. Like an egg or tempea in a corn tortilla with greens and onions and a side of orange or berries or even a glass of OJ instead. Otherwise I have to eat before I go and leave when I'm hungry.
Also depending on the barista, you might find the best London Fogs you've ever had.
Vegetarian options: Dairy is in most things but there is a non dairy gluten free muffin.
Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free options but most things have dairy.
