They scream at the customers, and then they lie about it on social media. Don’t come here.

Neither coffee nor pastry was particularly good. I'll go elsewhere next time.

I've been at this location a few times now, and it's been great each time! My friend and I decided to split the single origin flight, and it was such a delicious way to force us to think about our coffee. We also got an Oat Cookie Cappuccino, which ended up being a delicious palate cleanser between the coffee types.

Looking forward to coming back when they drop a new seasonal special menu!

This seems like a very popular and busy place. There was a decent line when I arrived but the staff is efficient and things are moving pretty fast. I really wanted to try the yummy sounding pistachio and berry croissant but it would have been too much food so I stuck with the veggie bagel and a oat milk latte. Both very good. The place is small so on a grey and on the cold side day, the inside doesn't have lots of seating. Definitely the place to go instead of supporting Starbucks which is next door. Support a local coffee shop! ☕🥐

1 oz is my go-to coffee spot in Mountain View. The quality of drinks is superb, and I appreciate that I can support a local small business. I don’t really eat pastries, but they look amazing. And the cake pops they sell are by far the cutest and best tasting per my 10 yo daughter.

I stopped by this café on a Sunday morning. It wasn’t very crowded when I arrived, but it gradually filled up and became quite busy. I ordered a cortado, which was beautifully made and nicely presented by the barista.

For food, I chose the everything toast — similar to an avocado toast, but topped with chili oil, tomatoes, eggs, balsamic vinegar, and feta cheese. Since I’m not a big fan of feta, I asked for it on the side, and they were happy to accommodate. The toast was flavorful, satisfying, and quite filling.

The café has Wi-Fi, and I spent some time working on my laptop. Around me, people were meeting, studying, and having casual work discussions — the overall vibe felt lively yet comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and they also had a tempting selection of pastries on display.

Overall, it’s a really nice café with good food, good coffee, and a great vibe. Definitely worth stopping by if you enjoy quality cafés.

This is the best coffee shop in Mountain View/Los Altos/Palo Alto area. The staff is very kind and friendly and their coffee is sooo good. They have pastries (sell out quickly) and ground beans for sale too. I love their rewards program, if you come there quite often you’ll get a free coffee for every 9 cups you had. The best thing is that the staff never turns off the coffee machine early. They normally close at 5pm, and this is the time you can still get your coffee! These guys are the best!!! There are reusable travel mugs you can lend. You can place online order in advance and not wait in line.
This place has wifi, inside and outdoor seating and is close to Downtown Mountain View. It gets really popular on the weekends bit dont let the long line scare you off. It moves fast. There is parking in the front and in the back of the building. Restroom is always clean and spacious. Enjoy your new fav coffee shop!

Best coffee in Mountain View EASILY

I’ve been to a smaller outdoor popup location of 1 Oz, and thought their lattes maybe weren’t super flavorful due to their limited supplies. Unfortunately, this brick and mortar coffee shop location wasn’t much different. The lattes me and my girlfriend ordered were decent, but only after we added two packets of sugar to each. They were supposed to be sweet seasonal drinks, but just kind of tasted like unflavored lattes. The cookie was decent, though!

1oz Coffee has a great vibe and clearly cares about quality, but my experience this time fell just short of what you expect from a specialty shop. I ordered a $7 specialty latte, and they forgot the syrup. Instead of remaking the drink, they just added the syrup afterward — which kind of defeats the purpose. With specialty coffee, the syrup is supposed to be blended with the espresso before the milk is poured, the same way you wouldn’t pour hot espresso over a cup of ice and then top it with milk. It changes the balance and texture of the drink.

Not a deal breaker, and the coffee itself is still solid, but these little details are exactly why people come to places like this. Hoping this was a one off. Would still recommend this over the Starbucks next door.

Nice small coffee shop a block away from busiest downtown area. They have inside and outside seating, both very neat. Latte is great.
