My husband and I are big fans of their biriyani and idicha kolambu. We used to do takeouts in the past and when we wanted catering for an event we immediately decided to go ahead with Annachikadai and it was the best decision.The people who run this place are very kind and gave us good discounts. The process of ordering and delivery were so seamless. They delivered on time and the food was excellent.I highly recommend them for event catering.

One of the greatest joys in to introduce friends to a new and wonderful food. Annachikadai is hands down the best Dosa in the Bay area. The only challenge is deciding which dosa to pick. Ask Ravi for help if you want to try something beyond the extraordinary paper doas with dipping sauces.

This restaurant is THE SPOT!!!!! My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine’s Day and the food was AMAZING!!!! Their dosas are amazing and huge, and the chicken 65 biryani was INSANELY GOOD, highly recommend!!! The portions are very large and the price is really great!! The staff are amazing and so kind and thoughtful, they even brought us extra sauce when leaving because we asked for to go boxes for the sauce. Overall amazing experience, highly recommend:-) if your unsure what to get, look at all of the google pictures or just ask in person!!!

Undeniably the best Indian food in the Bay Area, enjoyed a savory chicken 65 biryani with a dosa roll with garlic and tomato chutney that was recommended by Sammir. I am in awe with how addicting the food was! It is a simple and enjoyable experience with a team and flavor to become the next big hit!! What a hidden gem :)When in doubt try annachikadai, if you have any questions they will be there for you! Quick service with excellent staff 10/10!!

No surprise that desert isn’t mentioned that much in reviews! I only tried the 2 deserts (mysore pak and the halwa) and they were Painfully sweet and that’s an understatement. It was Way TOO SWEET! Not recommending the sweets here :(

Wow, I tried the mutton biryani, and it tastes exactly like what I used to have back in Chennai. The chicken 65 was fantastic, and I couldn't resist trying the Thirunelveli Halwa, which was absolutely awesome.

Delicious food that tastes like it’s actually from Tamil Nadu. 0 ambiance lol, but doesn’t really matter as long as they preserve the same taste and quality of the food.
I went here for takeout on a whim. As I waited for food I saw a mouse scurry out of the kitchen, then under a table and back. Needless to say I am not going back anywhere close to this place ever
