Every occasion had a delightful experience. I shared the experience with colleagues who then dined here. They agreed their experience was equally delightful.

Had the Glory Bay Salmon. It was literally one small fillet of salmon, with some roasted cauliflower on the side and a dash of puree. All this for a whopping $34!
It was the most average piece of fish that one could buy from Walmart frozen section and pan fry at home for less than one-tenth of the cost.
Ridiculously small portion size for the price, no special recipe or seasoning, a minimal effort dish! And they describe the menu is crafted by a Michelin star chef. The dish was a joke!

For dessert, the server recommended the chocolate cream pie. The mousse was good, but just a lot of chocolate flavor in the dish, nothing to balance it out. I would choose something else. Bill was $60 for one person for 2 items.
Note: 20% gratuity is added by default.

Nice seating. Good service. The steak I ordered medium was medium rare.

The food quality is not what it used to be. It lacks the finesse it used to have 18 months ago. It's more “stuff your face” food, no sophistication. Wine list is still good.

It had been a while since I dined at Broma. They changed their menu from the delicious tapas/Spanish fare to California cuisine. The items we ordered were crazy expensive and small portions.

Very fine. Can visit once but nothing stands out or is imaginative

The veggie burger was very good, I just was waiting for more greens and avocado (avocado wasn’t at all)

Although looking at the menu, it seems to be a rather ordinary hotel menu, if you try the dishes, this is cooking of a very high order. The fine hand of the two chefs involved (one from Michelin Starred Chez TJ and the other from SF's beloved Maverick) results in innovative and delicious takes, not always reflected in the menu verbiage. The wine list is extremely well-chosen and the wine service and knowledge superb.

Nice classy interior with a fireplace but the menu options are extremely limited. The small plates that we ordered were tiny but good flavor. Service was the problem. A glass of Lemonade is $6.50 but comes in a glass that is 80% ice then there are no free refills - 6ish ounces to go with your $60 meal is unreasonable. When I asked for a refill, the waiter scoffed that it was a “fancy restaurant” so it isn't free. When I countered that organic lemonade is widely available for $6 or less a half gallon (64 ounces) they grudgingly brought out another 6 ounces. If I'm spending $150+ for 2 people to dine, I don't want to be nickle and dimed. To not be parched during your meal you would need to spend $30+ on juice! Less ice in the drinks or to allow 2 refills are simple ways to improve the dining experience so that you don't have the bitter taste of being ripped off spoil your appetite.

Our first time at Broma and it was great! James, our server, is a real pro: knowledgeable and unobtrusive. The menu is very multicultural. I had the chicken liver mousse - delicious! Then the very yummy chicken sandwich. My husband had the tasty crab dip and then the lamb ragout with pappadelle! Outstanding. We had no room for dessert. It's a perfect place before a concert at Shoreline. We will return.

California Sea Bass Conservas 2 太面, not the juicy seabass texture, lemony sauce
Spanish Octopus 2 luke warm, tough, not juicy, not flavorful
Sherry Braised Pork Shank 4 huge, fall off the bone, tender, juicy, not too greasy, creamy sauce, flavorful
Cream Catalana 3 crème brûlée, mixed berries, not too sweet

Very nice meal. Although the server forgot my wine order it was remedied by the time dinner came so all was well!

Seven of us came for dinner and everyone enjoyed their individual meals!
