Exquisitely prepared and presented Japanese cuisine with artistry and nuance. Huge sake selection. Worth the price and great service. Welcoming people. A bit noisy but pleasantly lively. A wonderful evening!

Best Japanese food the wife and I have had in the peninsula so far. The staff were very knowledgeable about the dishes they serve as well as the drinks. The happy hour prices are excellent too. Nice interior design as well. Will go back for sure. Try the spicy karage and yakitori!

Elegant food with high quality and caliber. Super helpful and friendly service. They accommodate our arrival schedule which I very appreciate. It was hard to find a parking near the spot.

Awesome food – – great yakitori and nice noodle dishes. The Gyoza was also very well seasoned. The pork belly was absolutely fantastic – – even the kids enjoyed it. The problem that I have with this place is the service is really bad – – drinks didn’t show up until maybe the second course. I had to ask twice for them. The follow-up to our meal was nonexistent and in the end, the last piece of sushi that we ordered never showed up. The waiter did offer ice cream, but I can’t imagine the chef couldn’t prioritize one piece of sushi to send it to our table. The waiter needs to do better. The bus boy was awesome and the only reason that I’m giving 20% versus short changing the tip. Also the hostess was very nice too. Need to do better – – especially for the prices they charge.

Unfortunately, the sea urchin I received was far from fresh, and it tasted bitter. The waiter seemed fine, and I didn't give him a hard time. However, the restaurant needs to improve the quality of its food. Especially since I recently dined at another restaurant of the same price range and cuisine type, I would recommend the management to try the food there for comparison. (Rondo Japanese Kitchen)

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the new happy hour menu at Bushido in Mountain View and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. With 25% off on all sake, wine, and specialty cocktails, I couldn't resist giving it a try.Let's start with the new menu offerings. The oysters were absolutely divine, priced at just $2.5 each during happy hour. They were fresh, plump, and bursting with flavor. The potato fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and at $8, they were a steal. The broccolini was a delightful surprise, cooked to perfection and priced at $8.5. And if you're a fan of spicy food, the Spicy Karaage is a must-try. At just $9, it was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of kick.If you're looking for a more substantial meal, I highly recommend the Yakitori Set for $15. The negima, tsukune, and gyutan skewers were all incredibly juicy and flavorful. The Temaki Set, priced at $18, is perfect for sushi lovers. The hama, sake, and toro temaki were all fresh and beautifully presented. For those craving something light and refreshing, the Summer Cold Ramen is a great choice at $19. The noodles were perfectly chilled and the broth had a delicious, tangy flavor. And if you have room for dessert, the "ANMITSU" and Matcha Mochi Waffle are must-haves. Both priced at $8, they were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.To wash it all down, don't forget to try the RAICHI FLOWER cocktail. It was a refreshing blend of flavors and priced at $15 during happy hour.Overall, my experience at Bushido with their new happy hour menu was outstanding. The prices were incredibly reasonable with the 25% discount, and the quality of the food and drinks was top-notch. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was attentive. I highly recommend giving Bushido's happy hour a try, you won't be disappointed!

I went here on my first night of a one-week business trip. I ended up going back twice more in the same week because the rolls were so delicious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Food is decent, would get one of the big plates though but the grills are nice.

It’s okay definitely over rated on social media. For me, the Sando didn’t met my expectations and overpriced too. Not bad, I think still worth to give it a try

Uni Kani Risotto is so so good——Edit: now they changed the topping from ikura to uni, still super yummy!

The servers were courteous and helpful. Their beef tongue were so tender and juicy. Uni and crab meat risotto was out of this world. Also ordered fresh oyster, Negima, Teba Hotaru Ika. Very enjoyable dinner!

Had high hopes given the price range but came out disappointed. Food was rather average. The special uni kani risotto took forever to come out (the server did not tell us about the long preparation time), and it was very average. Interior was dated and had a weird smell l.

Good ambiance between the slightly dim lighting and enjoyable music. Excellent service! Server had recommendations, knew the menu well, was patient as we decided on items to order, and checked on us regularly. Everything we ordered was delicious.
