The mochi is ok. I've recently ordered from uji and give to my friend as a gift. They say it tastes ok but not great.

Pre covid review: This is definitely my favorite mochi place in the Bay Area! I have tried many of their flavors but my favorites are definitely the strawberry+red bean and the pineapple+milk chocolate+white bean! Their combinations and ratios of fruit to bean are perfect, and outside is perfectly chewy and just sweet enough, but not too sweet to be overpowering, and everything is fresh! They are currently catering too! Highly recommend! This is on the pricier side, but for the quality and size, it is definitely worth trying at least once, especially if you are a huge fan of mochi!

Finally made it here after having this place bookmarked forever. The early weekend hours and Sunday closure made it really hard to visit. The price is high, but I know how difficult it is to make these fruit wrapped mochis, so I think it's really worth every penny to buy. I got a strawberry and a kiwi mochi, but unfortunately, I just wasn't that satisfied. It was tasty, but not to the extent that I had originally hoped. I think it may be that the red bean paste was too sweet. Will come back if I happen to be in the area, and am craving a fruit filled mochi, but probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here though.

The choco strawberry mochi is soooo good The box is incredibly cute as well, and despite the store being very compact the designs in there were very cute too. I went here twice & decided to leave a review bc if I traveled legit an hour to get to this store, then you should know the mochi was worth it

Love this place. This mochi is delicious, quite honestly the best I've ever had. The lady is really nice and i love the decorations inside. Must try this place out if you havent

The owner is super nice. The mochi was good. I understand the rent in Mountain view was high, that's why it's $3.50 or $3.75 each mochi. But great desert.

A cute little dessert place specializing in Mochi in Santa Clara. They serve a variety of ice cream mochis and fresh fruit mochis. What really surpised me that they also offered these things called "moffle." Basically it's a waffle but made out of mochi batter. It's pretty dang tasty if you ask me and worth it to at least try it once.

Really tasty. I had a strawberry Mochi. The red bean was at an appropriate level of sweetness rather than being too sweet like most places. The Mochi itself was nice. And they're really good strawberry inside. In terms of location, Google didn't quite get me all the way there. Well it is in the same shopping center as the Safeway, it is around the corner, where there is a big bites Vietnamese eatery on the corner of the strip mall. So once you get around that corner then it is about three shops in. There is parking in front of the shop.

It is located on the side, right next to the laundromat. I was a bit hesitant at first... but now that I have tried them, I will def return and make it a good trip... do laundry, have lunch, and then have mochi for dessert. One stop shop!! Well enough about my future plan... now about the mochi, OH EM GEEH!!! So fresh and so soft!! My favs were the mango and Nutella. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. I also tried the cheesecake and the pineapple. Cheesecake... izza aiight! Pineapple... the fruit is fresh! But the thing is that it has whitebean inside. What is whitebean you may ask?? I didn't know either until I tried it. It is the sister of red bean. The flavor is softer but it is still sweet and it is on the drier side. Well at least this one was. But overall it is a def must try.

Fresh fruit mochi without having to fly all the way to Japan. Couldn't ask for anything more. Delicious :)

Dissapointed their time isnt updated on here. They close at 5pm on Saturdays not 7pm like Yelp has listed

The Mochi was very good but definitely OVER PRICED. I payed nearly 4 dollars for 1 strawberry mochi and it was a 4/5 but the pricing brought it down to a 3.
