Awesome place. I'm here more than I should be. If you love loud live Latin music get here at or after 7:30 PM Friday night. If you don't get here so you can be done by 7:30!
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Cascal in Mountain View! The menu is filled with delicious options, and I especially loved their ceviches—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly zingy. The paella was a standout, bursting with authentic taste and tender seafood. Their drinks were also exceptional; I highly recommend the orange margarita and the watermelon margarita—both were perfectly crafted and incredibly refreshing, not too sweet. Great service, quick seating, good food. I'm not sure if it's me, but the portions seem to have shrunk a bit. The top of sampler used to have nuts and seem to be missing some bites that we used to have. Still tasty though and we'd go back. Staff were very attentive and on top of refilling drinks, taking orders, clearing plates, etc..
