Always love the food, service is top notch. This is our family's go-to place!

We went there yesterday and honestly, this was a pretty disappointing experience. The service wasn’t great and one of our orders was completely forgotten. We only had five people, but the restaurant still counted us as a “big party” and added extra charges (18%) without telling us beforehand. On top of that and there was also charges us for cutting a birthday cake we brought. Overall, the lack of communication and the unexpected fees made the whole visit frustrating.

Substandard service for check-out: they brought the check before we had finished eating, even though closing time was still 45 minutes away.

This is my absolute favorite place for catering big parties! Every time I host an event and order from here, all my guests genuinely appreciate the food and ask where it’s from. That says a lot.

The quality is always consistent — which is so important when you’re catering for a large group. The taste, freshness, and presentation never disappoint. On top of that, the quantity is generous, so you don’t have to worry about running short when hosting.

I’ve tried other Chaat Bhawan locations and similar restaurants, but this particular branch stands out for me. The flavors are just right, the service is reliable, and the overall experience gives me peace of mind every single time.

Highly recommend for anyone planning a party or gathering — they truly make hosting easier!

Amazing food. Better than the Fremont branch. Great variety sandwich with fries. Poori was very good. Garlic naan and naan varieties very good. Excellent coffee and tea..

I stopped by this place on a weekday afternoon around 5 p.m. and started with a cup of chai. The tea was a pretty standard Indian milk tea. They did add a hint of cinnamon, which I personally don’t love, but overall it was still decent.

I ordered dabeli, a Gujarati-style Indian street snack. Think of it as an Indian street-food version of a sandwich: mashed potatoes mixed with tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet flavors, along with peanuts and spices, stuffed inside a butter-toasted pav (soft bread). It’s incredibly flavorful, a real flavor bomb; even though it’s mostly potato-based with no protein.

I also tried papdi chaat, another classic Indian street food. It’s a cold, chaat-style dish loaded with crunchy papdi, yogurt, potatoes, chutneys, pomegranate, and a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors. This one was also reasonably good as well.

While neither dish was the absolute best I’ve ever had, considering being in California, I’d say they were reasonably good and satisfying. If you’re craving Indian street food, this place is definitely worth a try.

The food at this Chaat Bhavan location is great, and the ambience is a step up compared to their other spots. Dahi Batata Sev Puri and the Methi Chaman Paneer curry were delicious. Yuvraj provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome.

The best Pani Puri I've had (out of a sample of 3 Bay Area restaurants, fwiw).

Spacious area with both booths and tables, attentive staff, somewhat quiet atmosphere - I'd return again.

We have always been a fan of Chaat Bhavan for their food and service.

But with employees like Yuvi, who is super engaging with kids it adds another star of hospitality ⭐
